Ok.. posting here b/c I'm only 3 days into May and you ladies are a little farther along so you'll maybe understand what I'm talking about.
I'm laying here in bed and all the sudden there's this horribly intense rush of what I can only describe as menstrual type cramping.. almost like a HUGE gas bubble but there's no gas to speak of.
Is this BH stuff? It's pretty dang uncomfy and I feel like I wanna cut part of my lower back out with a knife cuz it's hurting so bad! lol..
Labor with DD was about 10 years ago and only about 2 hours in total so I don't remember what it felt like.. :/
I have no idea. I'm sorry you are hurting. Sounds like it could be round ligament pain maybe. Last night I did have a lot of pain. It hurt so bad I almost had DH drive me to the hospital. But only lasted a couple of hours. Mine feels more like intense burning at the top my pubic hairline. I couldn't move my legs. You know everything I read said it could either be round ligament pain or the hormone relaxin. I know the baby is ok, because he is non stop moving. But the pain was so intense, it was rather worrysome. I'm also feeling tons of pressure in my hooha area and back. I might call the midwife today just to make sure this is all normal.
I've never had BH contractions but the people I know who have, say they don't hurt, but its more like a tightening. I remember my friend showing me her belly when she had one and it even looked like her tummy muscles were tightening. But who knows, it could be BH. Maybe they are painful for some.
I get a lot of sharp rushes of cramping or tightening. I never had that with DS, but it's a lot more common this time, like my muscles and ligaments are a lot more sensitive this time or something.
Since I was getting a lot of BH, I can say it's just a tightening of your stomach and uterus and only lasts a few seconds. My OB told me it was due to not drinking enough water and that I must drink more if not it can lead to something else.
I've never had anything quite like that. Have you felt it since then?
I hope it doesn't come back. Jeez, pregnancy is chock full of bizarre symptoms and aches and pains!
Right!?! The worst ones so far are the ones where I feel I've been snapped with a rubber band all of the sudden on my tummy. Obviously, a point when I yawn / stretch and my skin just isn't elastic enough to go with it. lol..
