I was going to respond to my own question when I heard the call of my baby in the other room. Anyway not much new here. Getting back into the groove at work and staying busy there. So busy that I'm forgetting to pump. But I have tons of milk so I am not worried.

We finally took Henry out to eat at a restaurant and he did really well. DH was nervous. I had taken Henry a couple times before with my Dad, but never with DH.

My bestie called at 7am. When you get a call from your friend at 7am, it can only mean one thing....she is pregnant! With her second. So excited for them.

Gosh I sure hope Henry sleeps tonight. I'm worn out from sleep deprivation. This is the longest sleep regression ever. I'm putting this in words in hopes that it changes something. Seems to always work like that Smile

It's been a little over a month of getting up 3 or more times in a night. I think maybe 3x in that month he has slept a stretch from 8pm-3pm. But lately its every 2 hours. I'm putting this in words in hopes that it changes something. Seems to always work like that Smile

Elizabeth, I know what you mean.. can I just have 1 night of sleep, pleaseeeeeee?????? Lol.. pretty tired today. I am so jealous of my husband.. he's such a deep sleeper. He didn't even wake up this morning when Lucas woke up at 3:30 to eat.. and he SCREAMED lol Makes me mad sometimes.. I guess bc I am so cranky that it makes me mad that he can sleep through Lucas screaming and crying and I can't even when we take turns on night feeds. I just lay there awake trying to sleep lol I even laid him in bed with me to see if he would stop moving after he ate and he didn't. So finally at like 4:30 I put him back in his crib and at 5:10 he was moving and grunting.. so I cuddled him in bed and he finally went to sleep without moving.. well, I get up at 5:45 so I got 35 mins after that. I really just want to go to bed early tonight and catch up on some much needed sleep. Sigh.. sorry for the vent haha.

Can you ladies believe our LOs are soon to be or are 4 months old?!?!

I am also exhausted. Getting back to work routine is so hard after the summer off. Rylee is up 1 time to eat at night but then she wakes here and there when she rolls to her belly and wants off. I really wish it would change lol. DD was an amazing infant sleeper and horrible toddler. So far Rylee is not great infant so I am hoping for amazing toddler haha

I am trying to keep up with my working out. So far it is hit or miss lol. I hurt my foot last week so that sidelined me but went today and yesterday. I am a bit concerned about some health stuff but I have a physical and see my gyn in early oct so I am just putting it off. Just not bouncing back to normal in so e ways after Rylee but it may be normal.

Ok off to pass out!!!

Nidia, I'm the same way. DH will tell me he will get up with the baby and usually I just do an eyeroll. He doesn't even hear her. The few times I've kind of shaken him awake to get her, he will get up but.. I just lay there until he comes back to bed. Pointless to even let him get up with her.
Julie has ringworm. Some girl at the daycare had it first and then Julie caught it. It's highly contagious but not dangerous, but I'm still a little irritated. It's going away now, luckily I had some Rx cream already from a yeast infection Julie had as a newborn.
DH has decided that he needs to rebuild the engine in my car. I'm so not excited about that. He rebuilt the engine in his car like two years ago and then a year later it broke down again. I know something needs to be done with it - it ticks, but an entire overhaul? He drives it to work because it's better on gas than the truck. But there's issues with the truck too. So then he decided we'd trade it in. My car is a 2004 Mustang. Not baby friendly at all, plus it's getting old. But ..still, it's *my* car and I don't want to trade it in. But we're going to go look at cars and see what the diff in price would be for just getting one (a used one) or trading the Mustang in and getting one. He also got a speeding ticket this morning. Yay.

On a plus note - my little girl owns my heart. Her smile can just brighten my day.

Hey ladies!

Elizabeth, I had to laugh about your bestie calling you at 7am. I think I called my bestie at 6am the day I found out I was pregnant! lol. Thankfully she's an early riser.

As for sleep, Emma still wakes up multiple times at night, but since we co-sleep, it usually doesn't disrupt my sleep too much. Some days, it's hard to lay her down when I have to leave for work without her waking though. I do wish she still preferred her early bedtime though. Now, if I try to put her to bed around 7, she'll wake up after a nap and be up for 1-2 hours. I like to go to bed early, so that makes me very tired.

In other news, my DS has been in kindergarted for a few weeks now and his teacher's already called me in for a conference. It seems, he's very academically advanced, but they have a hard time getting him to stay in his seat, stay focused, and doing his work. Considering that, plus some other home issues, we agreed to talk to his pediatrician. He gave us a questionnare to fill out and another one for his teacher and we have to bring them back.

Aimee, how did you hurt your foot? I do hear that difficult babies become easy toddlers sometimes, but my friend's difficult baby turned into a "spirited" toddler. Hope your health stuff checks out ok.

Jessica, hello and welcome back! Did you get ahold of a computer? Sorry about the ringworm, that sucks. Ringworm always sounds grosser than it really is, right? A new engine is crazy talk, I'd look for a new car. The past 2 cars I owned had engine problems and it was cheaper to just get a new "used" car. And sucks about the speeding ticket. Me and DH have been getting tickets left and right. I got a ticket for passing a school bus on a huge 4 laned-2 way street when I was driving the opposite direction. I had no idea that was even illegal. I didn't even see it. They have cameras on buses now and it caught me and you can see that I'm literally hundreds of feet away from this bus. It's silly. Shouldn't I be paying attention to the car in front of me? There was a car in front of me, hope it got the same ticket.

Nidia, 4 months! It's crazy. Our lil guys are only days apart. Henry had his 4 month appointment today, when is Lucas's?

Joan, I don't know how you do it. I also co-sleep when it becomes every hour, but honestly I can't sleep thru it. I need a blanket all the way up to my neck when I sleep and when he is in my bed, I get rid of the blanket and I'm so uncomfortable. Plus I have to hold my boob up for him to eat, my boob is too floppy or something and he can't latch unless I'm holding it. haha. Sorry about your DS. I'm sure lots of parents hear this. Did they recommend anything else besides seeing a pediatrician?

AFM- that night that I posted about sleep was the worst night of sleep EVER. Well since he was a newborn. He got up at 3am and thought it was playtime. So as of last night we are putting him in his crib. I was terrified and literally fell asleep looking at the monitor. But I think we both slept better. He slept until 3am and I didn't hear all his little grunting. We were thinking maybe our squeaky bed was waking him up when we would change positions while sleeping. So last night he slept in his crib til 3 and then I brought him to our bed.

So I bought a woven wrap! I love it, except it makes Henry spit up a lot...so I feel like I have to wait to get past the spitty stage to use it.

We are meeting up with some friends from Los Angeles this weekend (their family is in Texas), another preggo! We are going to her shower and she is a photographer, so she wants to take some family photos of us!

Elizabeth- I took a spin and muscle class that you get off the bike and do weights etc and pulsing lunges I think is how. It is better now and I took spin last night.

I am so brain dead I just had stuff to comment to everyone and can't remember lol. Rylee is only waking at 1 but it is just disrupting enough with back to school that my mind is moosh!

Maybe tomorrow I will remember what I was gonna say

Elizabeth!! What woven wrap did you get? I'm soooo jealous. I want one so bad but just can't spend the money right now, so I'm using a DIY piece of demin cloth to wrap her. Though I do have a mei tai and a ring sling, so it's not like I'm exactly in need, lol.

Oh gosh, I've got you beat Joan. I am somewhat ashamed to admit that I have a moby, a mei tai, an ergo and now a Girasol Wrap. The color/pattern is Tahoe. I love it! So far the front wrap cross carry is the easiest. I did get him on my back one day, but it was hard. I use my ergo a lot because its quick. It's what I carry him in when we go to/from daycare, since I have to cross a sea of parking garage and I have my bag. I don't know how people with strollers at daycare manage. There is like a triple door vestibule for security reasons to get past, seems like doing all that with a stroller would take forever.

Cute wrap! I'm not liking my ring sling as much right now. If I put him toward me, he tends to want to turn and look around a lot but if I put him facing out, I can't get his feet right. Maybe I should try to put his feet out of the wrap or wrapped around me now like Henry is?

School started for us a few weeks ago and DS loves it and is doing very well. We keep getting excellent reports from his teacher. I think it helps me be in a better routine because I have to go pick him up every day so it gets me going.

J has been fussy lately and of course I'm questioning my milk supply. One day he wouldn't sleep so I thought he was hungry but he just kept getting distracted and I squirted him in the face with milk making sure I had milk in there! But he's growing, ever so slowly, but growing nontheless so that's good.
We did finally nail down a good once-a-night feeding schedule. He usually wakes at 3-4 to eat and then is back down until 6:30 or 7 which is perfect on week days but today I brought him to bed and he slept until 8am. He is now out of the rock n play and in his crib with no problems whatsoever. Still swaddling him though and have no plans to change that yet.

That wrap is beautiful, Elizabeth! I actually do have a Moby, Baby K'tan, two ring slings, the denim wrap, and a tablecloth that I'm going to cut into a size 3 wrap on the way, lol. I also have my old Baby Bjorn from my first kid before I knew about more ergonomical ways to wear. The demin wrap, one ring sling, and mei tai are just the only ones that get used, lol. The rest I'm trying to sell. I never would have bought a Moby if I'd known about woven wraps. Once I sell the the ones I'm not using, I will probably buy one good size 5 wrap, then I think I'll be done. I tried an Ergo from a lady in my baby wearing group. It was soooo soft and comfy, but I hate the shoulder straps. They're oh so comfy for back carries, but that style of strap digs into my arm pit for front carries. I also couldn't seem to get them tight enough. I've heard this complain a lot from mama's with small frames.

I loooove my ring sling. It does wear on my shoulder for long carries, but it's so easy for nursing, then tightening her up for a carry if she falls asleep. I love having the tail to use as a nursing cover, drool rag, sun cover, etc...

As for the co-sleeping, I have a love/hate relationship with it, lol. I've gotten used to it though and am finding I have a hard time sleeping without being able to feel her next to me. She's been sleeping better these last few nights too, giving me a good stretch until 2 or so in the morning! It's great since getting her down in the beginning of the night is rough.

Vicki, I hate that you have to keep questioning your milk supply. I wish you didn't have to deal with that. I'd be stressing too if I didn't pump for a year with my first and knew I was capable of producing. We still struggle with getting her full at bedtime. It takes me an hour most night to get her to fully fall asleep because, I think, she just doesn't get her tank full. It's frustrating.

Yeah it takes Judah 45 min - an hour to eat before bed. DH doesn't understand why it takes so long and wishes he would go down earlier but last night he went down before 8 and woke up multiples times last night so that doesn't work.

Yesterday my kids decided to take all the bottles of soap and shampoo in the bathtub and pour it all over the floor in their room. I was napping and DH was out here on the computer and they were supposed to be having quiet time. Things like this usually happen on his watch because he's not as familiar with their limits. I never let them stay in their room together with the door closed for a long amount of time. Anyway, it was really really bad and it prevented us from going to NC and cooking out yesterday. We just cooked out at home instead. Those of you with one child, be happy that they are cute and little and can't get into anything yet!!!

Then I was washing out some of the soapy toys and stubbed my little toe on the stool in the bathroom and it's now very black and blue and hurts. And of course J woke up about 5 times last night and I had to get up EVERY time. I swear, if my foot fell off, DH would still make me get up. All I got from him last night was "He can't keep waking up like this." Yeah, that's helpful. I mean, I get that he has to go to work and stuff but getting up ONCE to stick the binky in his mouth won't kill him!! Surprisingly I'm not feeling tired today; I think because I took a nap yesterday.

ETA: Oh, and our dryer isn't heating anymore and we're not handy at all. Great.

Vicki, it sounds like you had a really stressful weekend. Sad Yeah, two little ones being quiet for too long is NO GOOD!! Even at the age of 5, when DS is quiet and off on his own for too long, I poke my head in to make sure he's not doing anything dangerous or destructive. As for the frequent wakings, it's pretty normal for this age and I'm sure you know that, but it sounds like hubby really isn't understanding which stinks. Seems like he insinsts on the kid being in his own room, but isn't willing to help with night wakings ... you're going to get burnt out like that! Emma wakes alot and my hubby isn't helpful either (he's just not useful that time of night), but she's with me, so it's easy on me. I'm sorry that your setup is making it difficult. Maybe your DS needs a reminder that babies aren't computers with programmable software!

Yeah, he's much more of a schedule/CIO type and even though I like schedules and don't mind doing controlled crying in certain circumstances, I'm not quite as much like him. i think it's the mommy instinct that he just doesn't have! So since we disagree and if it were up to him, the baby would just cry until DH thought he needed to eat, it's up to me to take care of him since I'm the one that doesn't want to let him cry. And I can't win that battle, he's convinced. Oh well, I'm just happy J doesn't usually wake up that much.

Yeah, they definitely don't have that mommy "I hate to hear my babies cry" thing. I leave Emma with DH in the mornings when I leave for work and sometimes I can't make myself leave because she's crying and it's taking too long for him to respond to her and I can't take it anymore!!!

Well I am sitting here at DDs gymnastics and have a minute to think straight lol. Once school is in routine things will be less hectic but that start of school with new students and schedules are just so hard to get used to.

Rylee is waking once a night but honestly DH is a saint when it comes to night stuff. I am horrible. I can be up super early but middle of night is not my thing. He helps so much which is great but Rylee is also pretty easy and doesn't really cry all that much. This week is my first full one at work plus gymnastics today, swim tomorrow, dance sat... It never ends lol

Oh and I am such a freak and super excited to announce how happy I am that I started Christmas shopping this weekend Smile

I started my christmas shopping too! Haha.

Vicki, my DH also insisted on putting Henry in his crib and it worked for a few nights, but tonight after 2 hours of screaming Henry is back in his rock n play. He was SHOCKED on Saturday when we did successfully put him in the crib and he woke at 2am and I nudged DH and told him it was his turned. He sleepily said "huh?" I said I just nursed him and changed his diaper, so its your turn buddy. He got up and did it, but was a whinybutt the next morning about being so tired. I was like if you're tired, I'm not even sure how I'm functioning right now.

I also feel like he is not getting full at night. I wonder if I should start topping him off with a bottle again. I was trying to avoid it since I hate dealing with bottles from daycare and because I use more of my freezer stash. But maybe that's what he needs.

Off the baby topic. OMG ladies, I got into a GIANT fight with my co-worker today. We have never gotten along in the year that we have worked together, she is just so weird. She is super anti-social, super bossy and just my total opposite. Well it all came out. We just blew up at each other. My boss sat us down and made us apologize to each other and forced us to have a private chat. Well in that private chat, she brought up random stuff that bothered her about me over the past year. She said I said things that I would NEVER in a million years would have said. Because I don't even feel them. She said that it hurt her feelings that I said "Architects know more about plants than Landscape Architects." Umm I know they don't, and I will be the first person to tell you that I know didly squat about plants, and when people ask me a plant question, I always tell them that she is our resident plant expert. I don't know where she came up with that. And she said that I hurt her feelings when I asked her the same question 3x in one day. She said it was 2 days before I went into labor. She often ignores me when I ask her questions, so I was like "was this a situation where you were ignoring me?" OMG, I have to find another job. She is driving me nuts. She took over all my projects while I was on maternity leave and now she thinks she's my boss. I was fine working under her direction until she snapped at me twice last week.

It was just so strange, she is a very overly organized person. And I really felt like she made an outline before starting this fight with me. Because I was just emotional and she kept saying to me "I can't control your emotions Elizabeth." I was like, what does that even mean? And she was trying to stay on "agenda" with her fight topics. So bizarre. My boss came to me after work and told me that we absolutely need to keep her, but that she is a weirdo and the hardest person to work with. My boss also said that while I was on maternity leave that they had to snap back at her and remind her who signs her paychecks. I just don't know why we have to keep her. My other co-workers also approached me saying that they felt for me and that she is way too intense.

Ok sorry to vent. My DH can't listen to another word of it.

Oh wow! What a nut job! I can't imagine having to work with someone like that.

Aimee, I know how you feel on the hectic life thing. I love my job, but I hate the hussle of having to get home from work, get dinner knocked out, then off to soccer practice. I wouldn't be as bad if DH wasn't in school three nights a week.

Wow, Elizabeth.. I would go nuts too! She really sounds wacky... and very insensitive. I hope something works out though.. I can't stand it when someone at work and I get in an argument, makes everything so tense.

Lucas gets his 4 month shots next week.. IDK why so late.. but whatever lol I think DH is going to take off work and take him and watch him that day bc he usually gets fussy and runs a fever. My DH is awesome about getting up at night.. we take turns, he does it one night, I do it the other night Smile

Ladies, how do you feel, how are your hormones? Sometimes mine are still raging.. lol

Elizabeth, she sounds crazy! I'm glad your coworkers agree with you though. I hope you guys can come to some sort of compromise.

Hormones? I know my hair is still falling out but not as bad anymore. And I'm getting pimples again which isn't fun. Otherwise I feel pretty "normal".

Elizabeth, I don't even know how you kept your cool. My Chicago girl attitude would have come out in that meeting for sure. Some people are just nuts.
My hair is still falling out as well, but not as much as before. Otherwise, I feel like my old self again for the most part.

We have so much stuff going on it isn't even funny. Everything we have going on could be a whole other post in itself. I'm so stressed lately that I feel like I need a vacation from myself.

Hormones yes! I wake up super sweaty still and my hair is falling out all over the place. I feel disgusting. Haha. I will take it over having AF back though. I keep feeling like she will come any day now. But I really hope she doesn't come back until I wean Henry. That would be magical!

Sorry you are stressed Jill. Will the weekend help at all? Hope you get a vacation soon!

Nidia, we usually take the day off for Henry's shots too. The last round was not fun. We are splitting up his shots, so he gets them every month. Poor kid.

Elizabeth that seems very rough to deal with at work. I hate when confrontation comes in the work place like that because the way it should be handled and the way you want to is not always the same lol

The hair falling out makes me NUTS!!!! I feel like i was done this time with my DD and I just want it to stop!!!

Rylee slept like a rockstar last night which means so did I and I had a light teaching day today so I was able to regroup and put my thoughts together. I am in a weird point with working out right now and as much as I WANT to I just get lazy due to tired and wanting to do other things. BLAH. Hoping this week with craziness will make me go back to the mood of wanting to go and actually going lol

I pretty much finished shopping for the girls for christmas today :). All that will be left are some stocking stuffers!!! I had a 30% off coupon from Kohls and they have great toy bargains online so I got so much for a great price Smile

Ok off to pick up the girls and head home.. we are having a weird heat day today with super high humidity and it being 93 which is off during Spetember

Yay for sleep! I'm jealous. H has been better. His new wake times are midnight and 4am. But he has been harder to get down and its like a 2 hour process.

How awesome to be done with xmas shopping for them. I am shopping for my family right now. We might not buy Henry too much this year, we are already expecting a lot from grandparents and he really won't know the difference anyway. But maybe a gift or 2. And I know 93 is hot for you, but I would so take it. It's still in the upper 90's here. It's been hovering around 100 for a couple of weeks now. Tired of it. Fall doesn't really start here until the last week of October. It will probably get down in the 80's or so by the end of the month. But I always remember being a bit cold when I went trick or treating.

This week has been insanely long. Not too excited about my weekend either. We decided to get Henry baptized and so we have to take a class on Saturday. Then just more family stuff. I need a weekend of doing something fun that doesn't involve formal lunches, baby showers or little kid's birthdays. I want to go swimming or something. Wish there were a beach close by.

Haha, I feel like an old lady balding.. seiously.. it's getting better but still.. grrrr..

Elizabeth, that is too bad but we aren't too close to a beach here either.. the closest that I think is kid friendly is 3 hours away but beautiful.. so much more than Galveston or anything in Texas lol. I hope his baptism goes well though and that you get some relaxation! This weekend I have a bridal luncheon for a close friend and then dinner with friends that night. I would love a weekend at home.. I need to clean and sort baby clothes. I am pulling out 3-6 month stuff I got from baby showers and I need to put up 0-3 month stuff up!

Yay for being done x-mas shopping for the kiddos. With my DS's birthday at the end of July and my step sons birthday in August with all the back to school stuff, we usually don't get to start until sometime in Sept anyways but I already feel behind. I am at a complete loss as what to get for the 14 year old. So hard. He has a cell phone and an MP3 player...nothing fancy because he can't seem to keep track of stuff or take care of it so we don't spend a lot of money on electronics for him. But he likes them so, eh! The boys do have the PS3 player in their room, but the 14 year old is pretty much the only one who uses it out of the two boys. I really don't want to spend a lot of money on video games, he just got 2 or 3 for his birthday and has a bunch already and at $60 a piece for the new ones I just don't know. I'm still thinking on him.
My DS is 7 and into the Legos now but OMG the prices on those are nuts! He wants the Lego City Fire Station...for $100(thinking that it going to be his "Santa" gift.) So maybe a few Lego sets and some clothes, I just don't know about him either.
Kylie will be easy and much cheaper to get x-mas shopping done for as she won't need as much from us and won't know the difference either way. Guess it will all depend on money...always comes down to money!

Monday I have a funeral to go to. My Aunt Donnas brother had a stroke Saturday afternoon and then had another one on Sunday and never came out of it. Tuesday his organs started failing so they got a team together and yesterday were able to do surgery to donate organs and he passed last night. Ladies this just baffels me...he was 55 and in perfect health. I'm talking no high blood pressure, cholesterol, triglycerides, no diabetes, nothing. Just completely out of the blue, even the dr's don't know why.

Have I mentioned i'm stressed and ready to pull out the rest of my hair that hasn't fallen out on it's own from pregnancy hormones? LOL

I normally would not buy for Rylee but the whole DD will ask why no presents from Santa and so then I got her a few things. I go a bit crazy on holidays and got it from my mom. I love buying gifts haha. We are cutting way back this year but cutting back is still a good chunk of money because everything costs soooo much! I feel like I did good with 21 presents for DD costing me $200. I just now need to do a stocking for her.

Jill sorry about your stress. DH just had one of his cousins husbands get oral cancer. he is 33 and never smoked or did chewing tobacco or anything. He developed a sore and next thing it was cancer that has now spread. They have a little boy that is 3 and it is really sad. I don't get why some people have these health issues and others do not.

Nidia- Haha Texas beaches are not the nicest. Enjoy your bridal luncheon. Sometimes those kind of things are fun and sometimes they are just too much when you just want to relax. It's weird, I also sometimes prefer to stay home and clean!

Jill-Teenagers are hard to shop for, especially boy teenagers. Good luck with that. Sorry about your loss. It so devastating to hear when a healthy person gets so sick suddenly. I don't get it at all. Thinking of you and your family.

Aimee-Stockings! Thank you for reminding me. I want to get new stockings this year. I was going to knit some, but I think I might just buy some. My knitting probably wouldn't hold up over the years and I want Henry to have the same stocking throughout his childhood.

AFM-My dad literally just called me saying he's in the hospital again. He has lots blood in his urine and they wanted him to get checked out since he has had 3 heart attacks and is on blood thinners. Poor dad can't catch a break.

The class for the baptism is this week, but not the baptism itself. They will let us know on saturday what Sunday's they have available for the actual baptism. I need to buy an outfit for Henry. Some of those are so pricey for only being worn once. Oh!! We have a wedding to go to next month. What should a baby boy wear? I don't really want to dress him up in a suit. It's hard to find button up shirts for little babies. Most of them start at 12 months. I guess he needs shoes too? Never done this before.

Elizabeth, I would just dress him in something cute but not too formal.. I mean, he's a baby.. he needs to be comfortable Smile I doubt anyone would care if he weren't in a suit. I hope your dad gets better soon.. that really sucks Sad

Aimee, that's really sad Sad I wonder what caused it.. so, so sad.. will keep them in my prayers.

Jill, I'm sorry about your loss, will be praying for you and your family Sad Oh and yeah, all kids want nowadays are video games, consoles, etc.. so expensive!!

AFM, I am ready for the weekend. Ready for this bridal luncheon.. just heard we are also going bowling after with all the ladies that want to go, so that'll be fun.. but I have cleaning at home to catch up on.. DH is changing the oil for my Jeep and he has to mow our yard! Lots to do.. we live on 1 acre, so it's never fun.. it takes forever.. lol poor DH.

Jill that's scary stuff about your uncle (?). I'm so sorry about that.

Elizabeth I have a few button up shirts that are small and I *think* I might have some black soft shoes. If you want me to, I can look. I have to get DH to do an attic trip (yes, we try to go up there in spurts, it's not the most fun place to be) so I can get him to get the 6-12 mos box down and look for you and send you something for him to wear.

My 3yo has a tummy bug and has been throwing up some today and last night. So far today she's kept down a banana and part of a muffin. Luckily it didn't seem to get passed on to the older brother so that's good.

Our dryer has been on the fritz and I can't seem to find anyone to just come look at it and not charge me an arm and a leg. My "handyman" isn't skilled in appliances and can't find anyone himself. It just won't heat so I have to hang everything. My ILs didn't have a dryer for the longest time and I have NO idea how they did it. I hate hanging everything up and our only clothesline is in the garage so things don't dry very fast.

Vicki that is so sweet of you. Sure if you are already making an attic trip. But don't go out of your way for me. I could pay you for the outfit and shipping.

Sorry your DD is sick. My best friends whole family got a tummy bug last week. I think its going around.

Good luck with your dryer. The whole time I lived in spain, I didn't have a dryer, but gosh its so necessary now. I can't even imagine the laundry with 3 kids.

Elizabeth, my mom's friend knitted us stocking when we were kids and we used them all through our childhood and still hang them up! They're cherished too, so I would totally recommend knitting him one. As for the wedding, I think if you can find him a polo type shirt, that would be totally fine. I do remember finding my oldest a button down for his first Thanksgiving though, and he was about 4/5 months old. I think I got it at Target.

I went to target, they didn't have anything dressy in his size. I am looking at some on amazon now, because I never have time to go to the mall. Plus parking and traffic is a mess on the weekend. I try to avoid driving on weekends.

I might knit one. I grew up with a knitted one too...but I also had a bigger fabric one that "santa " actually used. I think because my dad could fit more on the big fabric one. But the knitted ones are so cute. I crocheted a tree skirt a couple years ago and every year I pull it out, it excites me!!

Elizabeth, I will pull that box out this week and look for you. When is the wedding? I know I have 3 month ones but they would probably be too small right?

I loom knitted all of our stockings and they are great! They're really big and really pretty and I love them! I end up making one every year because I get so behind so this year I have to make Judah's!

So now everyone in our house was/is sick except me. I really hope I don't get it because no one can really take care of me!

Henry is wearing 6 months clothes now. He isn't long from head to toe, but he has a long girth, meaning long torso and short legs like me. Thanks for offering to help with that. If you don't find anything, I am just going to peruse amazon for something. The wedding is October 12th.

Vicki I hope you don't get sick.

What's everyone doing this weekend? I have a nurse coming to my house on Saturday for my life insurance policy. If the weather is not insanely hot then we might try to go to the arboretum pumpkin patch before it gets full of people in october.
