Thread: Sick... Meds?

So, DH and I had something planned fun tonight and of course I get sick. I AM SO MAD. My throat is killing me and my body ALWAYS does the same thing when I get sick. First it's my throat, then my head, then my chest...then it leaves USUALLY. Sometimes it turns into pneumonia. I had pneumonia 4 times last year, but luckily haven't had it this year. Anyway, my throat hurts and I know what's coming. I know Tylenol is okay, but what about Tylenol Cold? Any cold meds? I know some people's docs put stuff into "safe by" tri mester. I'd be considered 2nd tri mester, so...any ideas? My doc said Sudafed and Benadryl. Both of which put me to sleep immediately and I'm gonna have to work.

Sorry, the only ones I know off the top of my head are Sudafed and Tylenol (the reg pain reliever stuff, not the cold medicine.)

For your throat, how about warm tea with honey and lemon, or (if you're really desperate) a salt water gargle.

For sore throat I have always done honey lemon tea. It's kinda gross but works!
