Sounds like you ladies have some sweet babies!
Reid and Tristan definitely have their own look, but you can tell they are brothers.
Aimee, love the picture of your girls. Too cute!
Joy, I want to pinch Wade's arm chub. Love it!
I agree with Elizabeth - Tristan and Reid look alike but different. ;)
Sounds like we all have great babies! Judah is a generally happy guy if he's fed. He goes to sleep pretty easily on his own. He's very much like his siblings in that he has huge eyes and is always alert and looking around, he holds his head up easily and early, and he is very active. I just don't have babies that sit relaxed all the time. My babies are always moving their arms and legs and looking around constantly. I put him on his tummy on the Boppy the other day and he was just popping his head up high and looking around - so cute!
He also sleeps best swaddled so when he sleeps in the swing he only sleeps for 30 minutes at a time. I have to put him on his stomach on the Boppy to get him to sleep longer (I know, I know, and I check on him ALL the time!). He loves being in the wrap and sleeps really well in there and in the car seat in a moving car.
All in all, he's a lot like his siblings. His sleeping seems to be moving more towards his sister (brother was sleeping 12 hours at 8 weeks!) but a lot of other things about him remind me of his brother.
Love hearing about all these babies and how they are doing. It's amazing how fast times goes.
Kylie is awesome! I have said from the beginning when we found out we were having a girl, that I had no clue what to do with a girl and I still don't know what to do with a girl. LOL But..I love my monkey to pieces and wouldn't trade her for the world. I am really looking forward to when she is older that we can finally shop in the girl toy isles and not just the boy stuff. :)
She has a great personality and is a morning person full of smiles coos and giggles first thing. She loves our 6 year old. She is all smiles as soon as he is near her. And she is and will probably always will be a daddys girl. I love it! Although i'm sure Kylie won't like it much when she gets to dating age what with having an over protective daddy, grandpa, uncle and two big brothers. I feel for her future boyfriends.
We do tummy time for probably an hour to an hour and a half total every day(a few seconds to a few minuets each time depending on how well she tolerates it) and she does so much better lifting her head if she is on us or her boppy. She gets lazy when just on a flat surface. She will turn her head side to side but doesn't lift her head much. But if we hold her up or sit her up she is doing really well with holding her neck up. She will also grab things(taking the paci out of her mouth and then holding onto it) and loves taking hold of mine or my moms hair. She has also rolled from her back to her side then to her tummy but only on our bed has she done it and only a couple of times. And the other night I laid her down in her crib, she then slept for 8 hours and when I got up the next morning to get her she had moved herself sideways and had her feet on the wall. Haha! She's going to be trouble once she does start moving and right now I have a feeling she will be moving early, but maybe i'll be wrong.
Julie is doing good. She takes catnaps during the day and then a long nap in the afternoon. I generally have to wake her up. I change her, feed her, and get a fewamiles before she goes back to sleep. She sleeps thru the night until about 3am. That works well because that's when I'm getting up for work anyway. She smiles all the time and we have gotten a few laughs. I love her more than I ever thought possible to love someone.
