Sores in mouth?

Since about a week into the pregnancy, I've noticed some small sores inside my mouth. Now I'm very prone to these, I get very nasty cold sores all the time. But of course I came across a post from another site of a woman that said she read that there was a link between sores and M/C, so now I'm freaking out. I did google it of course and it mostly talks about it being normal because of hormones but there are women that say it did signal M/C.

They aren't big like a canker sore, just small sores...I'm trying to get it out of my mind but just found it so odd that I have them and happen to read that darn post!!! Grrrr!!!!!!

Oh gosh I hope not. I have canker sores and a cold sore right now. I do typically get those before AF. But I also read they are common in pregnancy. I sure hope so.

Yeah it's so stupid really. I found more posts about it being normal than anything but it's like one more thing stuck in the back of your head.

:lurk:

When you are pregnant your immune system changes. This is why you tend to get more colds easily, as well as other things, cold sores being one of them. I know with my first I seemed to catch EVERYTHING. I had the flu, strep, and bronchitis all with in a couple of months or so. Hang in there. Oh, and I have learned that when you are prego, google/the internet is NOT your friend lol.

Haha, totally agree. Google should have a random "What should I worry about today?" button. Biggrin
