I have an anterior placenta, so while I have been feeling baby for a long time now, it hasn't been constant. More like a couple of times a day. However, since yesterday, I have been feeling him a ton! I'm thinking that he's finally strong enough that I can still feel him with the placenta in the way. How fun!!!! I freaking love this! How about you ladies? Feeling your babies move a ton these days?
Awesome! Yeah I feel movement everyday. She has been fairly quiet the past few days though which stinks. BUT when she decides she's going to be a party animal she will be out of control the whole day. I'm actually feeling her right now as I type it and I love it!
I have an anterior placenta as well, even though no one TOLD me, I just saw it in the OB's notes during my u/s. Anyway, baby girl goes to TOWN around 6-8 at night. I mean, kicks that you can see and constant moving. She's like that in the morning too, around 6am, but as I'm usually at work and sitting at a desk, I don't realize it/feel it as much. It's so awesome that she's gone from tickles to jabs to gymnastics in there LOL.
Alissa, was T really active before he was born? I'm wondering if there's any correlation between active before and after birth.
No, I don't remember him being super active before birth. He's a typical little boy now (loves to run and jump and yell) but I remember worrying with him that he didn't "move enough", just like I sometimes worry with this one. I think my problem is that if they aren't moving every time I think about them moving, I get worried. LOL!
Haha, I did the same thing at work today. I remember her moving this morning, but I was *thinking* about her moving and I was like... hello? why aren't you moving? LOL
Like she's a mind reader or something... And I saw on your ticker last week (or maybe week 22?) that baby sleeps for 14-16 hours a day. So I try to remember that when I haven't felt anything for an hour or so.
Yes that's how I calm myself when I don't feel her too much. THey do sleep a lot. DD wasn't a mover at all, and everyone told me she was going to be an easy baby THAT WAS DEF. NOT THE CASE!! LOL!!
I am feeling a lot more movement as well. I think I worried more about lack of movement the last time around. Now that I have actually had a newborn and seen how much they sleep, I don't worry about it if I don't feel movement for a while, plus I really don't think about it as much since I am too distracted chasing my toddler around, lol!
