Thinking about cleaning

...except I can't manage to make myself get up and do it. *sigh* Last night, DH and I and his mom were supposed to go out for dinner. It started snowing and I had told him waayyy early that morning that if it snowed, I'd rather just stay home and he said okay. However, he apparently got mad when I said let's stay home later that night. I didn't know he was mad until he got home - and didn't hardly speak at all the rest of the night. Finally he said something sarcastic about dinner so I figured out that's why he wasn't talking to me. It had stopped snowing, BUT in my defense, the last time it snowed - it took him nearly 7 hours to make the 1 hour drive home and I was CONCERNED. I didn't think he was real interested in going to dinner anyway - it was my idea!? Anyway, as he was going to sleep last night, he said if he's got energy tonight he'll put the crib together.

HAHAHAHA. He's funny. If HE wants to do something, he's got energy for that!

So I'm off today. I got some All Free and Clear yesterday on clearance. I also have some Purex Baby that was given to me during the shower. I could start on her massive amount of clothes. Or do my clothes. Or DH's clothes. But I can't get off the couch. I seriously have zero motivation. I hope I get that "nesting" phase soon!

And here I am sitting at work, wishing I was home so I could do some cleaning. lol.. I know how much laundry was staring at me on the way out the door this morning and I know Dh probably won't do any today. I wanna be pleasently surprised, though! Biggrin

I still think you should have gone to get a sweet treat or something.. even if it is quite the drive. lol.. You'll have to post pics of the crib when you put it together!! :clappy: If I recall, it's light wood, yes?

Hope you get some energy soon, mama! Biggrin

Adriana, haha, poor lady. Gotta read allllll my texts about the same stuff then come on PO and read the posts about what I texted you about LOL.

DH, when he's off, he doesn't do anything. He *might* fiddle with a car or a gun, but there's no laundry or sweeping. He's always like..."It's my day off, I'm relaxing." Pfft. If I have a day off, I feel the need to get stuff done. And in the afternoons, I feel the same way. Gotta get it done! Speaking of getting stuff done, my mom bought me this green mat shirt and I can't friggin find it and I really liked it. Guess I should check under the bed..lol.
He went to bed too early to do anything last night, if we would have driven out there, he would have fallen out before we got back..haha. Oh AND my sink isn't draining. So I have to wait for it to drain VERY slowly, then have DH put Drain-O in it (he won't let me mess with it...lol)
Yes, my crib is light wood. I could go play with the stuff in there. Like see if my travel system stroller can fit in the Mustang. I highly doubt the car seat can fit. This is so ridiculous! I'm 33 weeks pregnant, she could come ANYTIME and I feel her all the time and I am STILL thinking this isn't going to happen. I want to look forward to having a little baby girl, but I just can't.

Lol I don't care! Smile Text away and then type away! Depending on my mood swing, I may respond differently in text than on the boards. ROFL

Nooooo she can NOT come any day!! She has at LEAST 3 more weeks before she's mature enough to come! lol.. But I know what you mean.

Sounds like he's leaving the girl stuff to you and is doing to man stuff.. but not doing the man stuff? Unless he fixes the drain and I'll give him a reprieve on "the man stuff". Until then, hold his man card hostage. lol.. You shouldn't be messing with those chemicals anyway...

Now I thought you said you found a car seat that would fit the stang??? Or did I read that wrong?

No, I did find one that would fit the 'stang. But I didn't buy it, I figured I'd buy it online for cheaper, but nope. So I'd have to go back to Target (an hour away)..and I don't head out there often. I'll end up getting it anyway, but I wanted to see if the one I have will fit.

Jessica, you better believe it...you are having a baby! Haha. I will give you some of my nestyness...I'm nesting to the max still. So did your DH put the crib together? You will have to post some pics of the baby's room when its all set up!

Nope, crib is still in the box, in the spare bedroom, with the door closed LOL He DID stay up 'til 8 o'clock tonight. AND he unclogged the sink. Bonus! I said today that I'd like him to get "a" carseat installed in my car, just in case. He was like I know...and I have to put together the crib.

He's just like me. In denial...haha. As he was talking, Julie went crazy - my stomach was moving all over the place. He was like..omg! was that her??

You sound like me! I "think" about cleaning and doing all kinds of stuff but have yet to have the energy to do it. In fact, today... I fell asleep on the couch and slept for 4 hours! Yep... I said 4 hours. And even when I woke up I had to force myself up b/c I could have kept sleeping. Its not 8:40pm and I feel like I could go to bed right now. I dont know what my deal is today!

Right there with everyone... I am so tired and want to do so much but all I end up doing is laying around. Between working and coaching and then my 2 year old I can't function some days. Last 3 nights I have been out cold at 730 and had big plans for vacation this week but with wake funeral and more basketball I fear nothing will be done

I am currently sitting on my bed on here when I SHOULD be cleaning and getting things ready for the baby shower this weekend, making room for stuff my SO put the crib up Saturday but the room needs spiffying and cleaning all I have gotten to do yet is two loads of laundry and they are not put away yet! I have NO ambition, I sure I hope I get some soon! I think about cleaning and I yawn lol

Ha!!! Me too! Our clothes get washed no problem... but then they stay in what my DH calls my "round closet" aka the dryer until we have something else to put in the dryer and then I'm forced to get them out and fold/hang up whatever. I feel so lazy, I was a neat freak until I got pregnant and now I'm super lazy and want to clean but end up just being all "eh, who cares, I'm tired!" LOL Poor DH.

LMAO @ round closet! LOL I leave everything in there too until I'm forced to take them out. I usually glance in there and if it's pants or something easy - I might fold them. And leave them on TOP of the dryer. LMAO

I had the exact same feeling this last weekend and finally made DH help me clean the whole house! It was bothering me but didnt think I could clean it all myself. It's so hard to bend over these days!
