waiting for gender?

Is anyone out there waiting until d day to find out boy/girl? I have always thought it would be SO neat to do that...but have never had the patience to be able to! This is our last and I keep trying to talk myself into it lol

Hehe, not me. I thought about it for like a moment, but I don't have the patience either. Good luck! Does your DH care?

No we are going to find out as soon as we can as long as baby cooperates. We've been out looking at baby stuff and am not to happy with the gender neutral selections out there. I know they say yellow/green is either or, but everytime I see something those colors it either screams boy or girl to me. My mom and my brothers girlfriend are throwing me a baby shower because we lived out of state when I was pregnant with my son and didn't get one. So hopefully baby cooperates so I can register for gender specific. Otherwise I might just have to ask for a diaper/wipes/gift card shower.

We will most likely find out the gender on this one. For DS we were going to wait, but it was very obvious on U/S that it was a boy. I have a lot of respect for folks who can wait! It seems like a neat surprise to get after waiting so long.

I have zero patience and my DH is worse. I've scheduled a u/s for 16 weeks to hopefully find out. Smile
I've always thought if I had one of each and we decided to have a third, I might keep #3 a surprise.

I'm totally finding out. This is our first child and I can't wait to be able to buy gender specific things PLUS I want to be able to say cutsie things like .. your little boy or your little girl to DH

Nope, can't do it. DH wanted to wait originally, but he knows me well...I'd explode. Actually when he told me he wanted to wait I was already planning on sneaking behind his back to find out and then keeping it a secret from him. He's totally on board with finding out now.

Wow, maybe I'm the only one! OP you should wait so I'm not the only one waiting!!!!
We have one of each and I've always wanted to wait until the birth so they can say "it's a ...!" I have everything I need in relatively similar seasons and there is nothing that will change much based on the gender (the older kids will be sharing a room either way). So this is a good time! Part of me wants to know, but I know it will be SO exciting to wait, and I love surprises. Plus, DH is on board!
So anyway, you should wait so I'm not the only one. Smile

Bahahahahahaha!!!! I can't find out until I am 21 weeks because of DH's schedule, but I have totally fantasized about going to one of those 4D places without him and just not telling him. LMAO!

it sounds like most of us are pretty impatient! lol I haven't really decided yet if I can make it until dday... I'll have to see where I'm at for the 20 week mark. I got rid of ALL of my baby things since we was suppose to be finished so I told dh it's not like we are gonna be prepared either way! lol

Last time I found out the sex at 13 weeks because we had genetic testing. I always thought I'd be a wait-er...but nope, it was too easy. I'm thinking I want to experience finding out at the birth, so I've decided not to find out this time...I think it will be more exciting. When DD was born no one even SAID anything about her gender. There I am, laying on the table unable to see anything and I say "Is it still a girl?". LOL. Everyone said 'YES!'. Ummmm...hello? Couldn't you have even mentioned it? HA HA

No way! Not only am I crazy impatient when it comes to surprises (generally I'm a patient person but when its something like this I get too excited!) but I'm also a planner. I need to know what sex I'm having so I know what I'll need and everything. I wish I could find out NOW! LOL DH probably wouldnt care if he had to wait, he has a older son from a previous marriage and they waited to find out with him but I cant wait and he supports that. Smile
