    Default Weekly appt... Another disaster!!!

So I had to leave work early for this appt because my doc had to be somewhere so I get there and after last week I drank juice first to make baby move and stuff. NO SUCH LUCK!!! On these biophysical u/s they look for 4 things (fluid, breathing, movement and heart rate). So this time no movement. She was moving so much all day and even at lunch someone across from me commented on it moving. And my fluid jumped from 23 last week to 31 today. The highest it had been up to this was 25.8 so that's huge and had me nervous. So they put me on the nst to monitor and after 25 minutes still very little movements. My doc was gone by this point so he called from his car and wanted me sent over to labor and delivery. So I get there and DH meets me after dropping my daughter off with his dad and they had me hooked up for about 30 min with tons of movement. When I first got there they said the doc that was on wanted a repeat u/s for fluid but when I was on my machine my doc called the hospital and he was very pleased so said it was fine. I go back to hospital on Monday for another NST and biophysical u/s because with a big jump like that could've been a bad measure of fluid pocket or something.

So it was a crazy afternoon but I did realize I love my doc. It is new from last one and I loved that one too and it was different because there were 5 docs and one was always on at hospital which was nice but having him call to check on me twice like that made me feel good. And Monday he is on at the hospital all day so that's why he wante dime there so I can see him after my tests. I just want her to keep baking until my csection!!!

Sorry that you had a stressful appointment and ended up in the L&D again. But, so glad to hear that your doctor is on top of things. That is very comforting I'm sure. I'm glad to hear that your measurements looked better when they did them again at the hospital. Hopefully baby Rylee decides to keep cooking for another couple of weeks.

Sorry for the stressful appointment! Hope Monday goes easier for you! It's a good thing that you have a doctor you like. I have 2 midwives and I like one of them...I don't dislike the other, but she doesn't have children and I feel like she thinks I'm a whiny butt when I ask her about my pains. Well I am a whiny butt, but still, I shouldn't be made to feel that way. This is my first pregnancy and all sorts of weird things are happening.

Not too much longer now. You will be the first April mama, since you are having your baby in March!!!

I am doing the weekly BPP's as well and never fail, little dude will wiggle all through the NST and then decide to take a nap for the U/S.

I have resorted to buzzing him with my phone to wake him up. I set my timer on the phone for a noisy ring and vibrate, put the phone on my belly near his head. It has worked every time. I am a mean mommy already!

My doc is not super worried with fluid. It's way worse he says if it is low and so more just monitoring it now. I guess my water could break early but not sure yet.

Cristan that's a great idea... They used a buzzer thing at the hospital that totally got her moving lol

That's awesome that your doc called you to check up on you. You don't see that a lot. I'm sorry for all the stress though. We don't have that much time left though, so hang in there and you'll be holding baby Rylee before you know it!!
