Default Well.... today has been great.

Not. Last night I made nachos and ate just a teeny bit but I held it down. DH got home and asked me to try to eat some more since the doc said I'm not eating enough.. so I did. I was hungry anyway. Yeah, I threw up ALL night. This morning, I get to work, popped two Zofran...and gagged and sorta threw up. It was more than just bile but less than total food. I ate some crackers and drank some water....threw that up. THEN I'm not sure WHAT I was thinking, but I had a bit of coffee. Just a little. Coffee and I don't agree with one another ANYWAY - but it was free and I took it...and then not only was I throwing up, but I kept having to run ...RUN to the bathroom.

So yeah, I left early. I got home and ate some soup... gonna let that settle and then try to sleep some. 16 weeks pregnant today! And still having morning sickness. YES!!

Awww, sorry that you are still going through this. I can't believe how sick you've been with this pregnancy! You poor thing! I really really really hope that you start feeling better soon. (((HUGS)))

Thanks Alissa. I actually have been feeling better. Instead of feeling sick 24/7, it's been hit and miss with what and how much I eat. I have taken into account that I can't eat big meals anymore. I have to to eat small meals - but more of them, but it's better on my stomach that way. Sunday, Monday and Tuesday were good days! I still took Zofran, but only 2 a day whereas I'm usually taking 6.

Well, that's a step in the right direction. You know, I have had several people tell me that girls cause more sickness (which I personally find very disappointing since I wasn't sick much at all this pregnancy.) I know you are hoping for Team Pink, so maybe the silver lining is that all of this sickness means you are having a girl?

Man, I'm so sorry that you're so sick! That's terrible. I really hope you find some relief soon.

ah- I was really hoping to read about someone's good day! Looks like there are several of us with a rough night last night. I was sick all night too. My throat is still swollen and I am still spitting up blood from how raw it is from all the vomiting. For me this usually lasts till about week 18/20. Hopefully you don't have much more of this!

Agh! Sorry you are still sick. That sucks...and it gives me no hope. I've been better, instead of throwing up every other day, its down to 2x per week. I swear it happens right after I tell DH "I think my M/S is gone." Because I said that last night and this morning I threw up. I'm going to stop jinxing by not saying that anymore.

Like Alissa said, maybe its a girl!!

Elizabeth - your post made me laugh because it seems like every time I mention on pg.org that I'm feeling better - I hurl within hours LOL

I want a girl, I'm surrounded by guys - at home and at work. I think DH would be wrapped around her finger but...on the other hand, I think DH would be over the moon with a little boy. He likes to fish and hunt and do country-boy things and I think he'd really like to teach his son how to do all of those things. ....but he said he'd teach a little girl too, so we'll see.
