I know it can't be the baby, based on weeks and the fact that I'm heavy... but I'm having it since yesterday on and off again. It's a bubbly sensation right below my belly button like at the start of the pubic bone. It's quick, almost feels like someone blew threw a straw really quickly. It's always in the same spot. It has happened like 3 times already. Is that gas? I remember it with my daughter but don't remember when it started...
I think the fundal height is right about there at this point. Maybe just uterine expansion taking on a new freaky feeling?
I know exactly what you are talking about. I had that with my pregnancies, too.. but I figured it was liquid entering my bladder. Do you have a doppler at home? perhaps you can listen in to the "feeling" and see if you can determine based on that.
Well, what better excuse to listen in on your LO more, right?
It (the placenta) sounds like swishy. I have heard the swishing noise, so I am assuming that is the placenta.
Mari - I haven't felt anything like that, but "uterine expansion" seems to cover pretty much all of the weird sensations we feel so that's my guess too.
