Default What makes me wanna hurl...

So yeah, I'm past 14 weeks and should be sighing in relief from no more (or at least less) m/s, but noooo, I've been vomiting all weekend! Super fun. I noticed today that smells can trigger it quick, fast and in a hurry. For instance:

    1. the bathroom at work makes me gag as soon as I walk in it. (smells like poopy usually)
    2. we have a papermill in the city and it STINKS so bad
    3. skunks - oh man. I know some of you probably haven't smelled a skunk when it gets hit on the road, but it smells like someone rubbing an eraser on a piece of paper vigorously and then multiply that times 100. Kinda burnt/stinky/grossness.

Also, SEEING certain things make me gag, for instance:

    1. if someone in the bathroom didn't flush.. I know everyone has to go, but I don't wanna see it
    2. When I throw up, seeing the throw up makes me throw up more...? woot!

And finally, TALKING about things, for instance:
    1. Was talking about a certain food at MIL's house and I gagged
    2. Talking about bees
    3. Talking about spiders....ewww

And finally, even just *talking* too much can make me wanna throw up.

    Would anyone like to trade?

Oh - and Alissa? I know this is way off subject, but are you still using your doppler? And if you are, have you moved up from how low you were getting the heartbeat before? Thanks

Haha, yes, I have moved it up a bit. I always start at the hairline since I know that it the lowest it should be, but I end up moving up an inch or two from there.

Hahahaha, too funny! I don't dare say I've had nausea as bad as you. Smells do get me. And yes I've smelled a skunk. It's nasty. But talking about spiders and just talking, I'm still ok with. LOL.

    Things that make me hurl:

    Mushrooms
Melted Cheese (but cold cheese is fine)
Taking my prenatal..takes a couple tries. I bought the gummy vitamins to help, but I want to finish the pill ones first.
Brushing me teeth-This is what causes the puking 9 times out of 10.
Putting anything in my mouth (like a pony tail holder, or anything)
The smell of my moisturizer. Nasty. I need to find a new one until I get past this phase.
Any trash or disposal smell...happens at my work, its gross.

So last week I hadn't hurled in like 4 days and on Friday I walk into the office and feel sick very suddenly. I ask myself "do I need to puke or will this pass?" And so I walk towards the bathroom just in case. But before I could open the door, I puked on it. The door that is. So embarrassing.

Jessica, I'm sure this story is not helping you any. Sorry.

Can't believe you ladies are in the 2nd trimester! Whoohoo!!!

Elizabeth - LMAO for puking on the door! I have puked outside a few times...and once I had to puke in the orange juice bottle because I had nothing else...and it didn't *quite* work LOL

But YES, brushing my teeth is horrible! And I can't put anything in my mouth either...except food..lol. My Prenatals are HUGE so taking them is an issue if I'm feeling gaggy. Which is often..lol

OMG, this post made me laugh so hard. I'm sorry I'm not laughing AT you, I'm so sorry you're still sick! Just the way you worded it and then things that make us as preggers want to vomit/gag. I gag my way through the grocery store if it makes you feel any better! Hope yours gets better soon!

I really hate the smell of cigarette smoke and if it were up to me, that crap would be illegal just to protect my delicate preggo nose. It's the one thing that really turns my stomach.

OMG yes all those things & some...

    Food commercials
any and all smells: hand soaps, my dog, bathrooms...
    talking too much
    chasing my 3 children
house work... I think the moving around a bunch makes me sick and vomit
teeth brushing every time makes me vomit
water or even the thought of drinking water
reading my magazine the other day I saw a food ad that had me running to the toilet dry heaving.

It's been so bad I've resorted to a lot of crying!

I also forgot one: Bending over. Like, when I'm getting something off the floor, it's immediately puke-ville.

Crying makes me vomit LOL so I try not to do that
