Cristan and Jessica sorry about the GBS. I really don't want it because I want to labor at home and I think if you test positive they make you come to the hospital earlier to start the IV antibiotics.

Cristan, I'm sorry about the pertussis. This is whooping cough right? That stinks. My midwife just offered me the DTAP vaccine, but I wanted to wait until after the baby comes. I just got one last year anyway when I went to Thailand. Hopefully they can control it with antibiotics and you will be all healed before the baby comes.

Katie-Did you enjoy the hospital tour? How many childbirth classes do you have? Thats exciting about your shower! You should share pics afterwards. Im having another shower with friends in a couple of weeks. Im excited too!

Eliann- I did enjoy the hospital tour a whole bunch. The maternity ward is very nice and the nurses and doctors were friendly. Kinda gave me a wake up call as I walked into the delivery room, making the arrival of my LO more real. I am really excited though. The childbirth class that me and the hubby took was pretty long but very informative. Our teacher was friendly and answered my thousands of questions. lol We watched like five different stories of different kinds of childbirth and it was interesting. I have a lot to fix on my birth plan though. My main idea is that I want to have the baby vaginally and I will do whatever I must to make that happen if that means no meds , then no meds. So for now I will just pray that I will be able to have this baby vaginally , the way I want. lol
And as for my shower, I will definitely take pics and also when I finish the nursery which is almost done. Now all I have to do is figure out how to post pictures for all of you to see them. I hope your shower goes well too. I know you must be excited
