where to shop today?

I am heading to Anchorage for my OB apt today. I have decided I am going to buy SOMETHING for the baby. I can't believe I am at 32 weeks and have nothing yet, but somehow I haven't been able to do it.

Any suggestions on where to go? Anchorage has walmart, target, kohls, Burlington, a tiny version of baby's r us.

This is the first time I have had only one appointment to go to. Seems crazy to drive 125 miles one way for just the OB appt. Smile

I like Target and Kohls! Lately Target has had a very limited amount of kid clothes which is frustrating!!!

Oh how fun! I can't wait to hear where you go and what you buy. You might be suprised at the baby section in Burlington. I was by ours. I'd try to hit up as much as possible, just remember that almost everything at Babies R Us can be bought cheaper at the other places.

Go everywhere! LOL If you're looking for clothes, I'd go to Burlington or Kohls. Walmart and Target have things, but..they're kind of plain in my opinion.

I can't believe it's 125 miles to your appointment! Holy crap when you gotta start going every week! I'd be like...uh..can we skype?? LMAO

Target and babies r us! I haven't been to a burlington in years. Do they have baby stuff? I went to kohls the other day and the one where I live has a very tiny baby section...I was disappointed.

I would look everywhere. You never know what they might have or what deals are going on. It's been a while since I have been to some of those places. Have fun shopping though : )

I went to Kohls first. I have not been there since they opened a year or so ago. It is on the side of town I normally don't go to. It is not a really big store, and the baby section was small. I did find DH's birthday present and got some Kohl's cash to spend at another visit. Smile
The Target is next door so I walked through and I bought a Boppy cover. my first purchase!
I then went to my appointment.
Before leaving town I stopped by Burlington. I found some washcloths really cheap and I also bought a pair of pacifiers.
