Woot, I lost weight! ;)

Ok, so I know I should be gaining weight right now but I'm sure it's fine that I lost three pounds from the past three weeks. Remember me worrying that I'd gained too much? Not anymore, lol. Plus, I saw my "favorite" midwife and she could care less about weight gain.

Did my glucose test today; the orange stuff wasn't that bad, drank it while I was getting gas!
Otherwise, baby is good; laying in a better position right now which of course could change. I guess I am indeed feeling little feet near my belly button because that's what my midwife said when she felt around.

Great job on the weight loss. Mine was holding steady and now I have had steady gains each visit!

I hate worrying about the weight gain. Congrats on keeping yours in check.

Yeah, I hate it too. My regular midwife doesn't even care (unless you just look unhealthy I guess) but the fact that the other one mentioned it worried me.

Whoohoo! Glad you are where you want to be as far as weight goes. Also its always nice to hear that the baby is in the right position...even though yes they can move. Hopefully he/she stays there! I have no idea how much I should be gaining right now. I guess I should look that up. Because I've gained about 15 lbs.

Who hoo!
My dr's seem to be like your midwife. The one told me at my first visit he would like to see about 25lbs when all said and done from my original weight. But, if I gain more or less he won't nag me about it as long and baby and I are good, he is good. His words were, if you gain more than 25lbs, you'll just have more to lose at the end. Weight check time at the visits is the worst. Smile

Elizabeth, that's about right. I've gained about 13 lbs by now so you're good. And really what matters more is not as much how much you gain but that you can work it off afterward. I have a friend who gained 40lbs with her last two kids but she is so so small now! I'd rather have that than have 5lbs that I keep after each kid like I do!
