Baby dropping??

I think baby mustard seed dropped today! I'm not for sure, but it sure does seem like she did! I've also had a lot of contractions this evening, though I don't feel they're growing in intensity or consistent enough. Still, hopefully my body is preparing for the real deal soon!

We had a death in the family this last week, so we were in the car a lot over the last several days traveling. My preggo body is just not in a happy place now! Baby girl is still quite active though and not really letting me sleep these days. I'm determined to enjoy these last few weeks of pregnancy though-I'm truly thankful I get to experience pregnancy! If I'm being honest tho, it is really hard to be so uncomfortable and exhausted!

I'm sorry to hear about the death in your family. Travelling while very pregnant is no fun at all! We went on vacation a couple weeks ago to South Caroline (we live in Ontario, Canada) and spending 16 hours driving each way was an awful form of torture...Good thing the weather was great while we were there and there wasn't any snow because it would have been tough to drive all that way and then stay inside.

Hopefully your contractions are just prepping your body for the baby to come out. My baby hasn't dropped yet at all, which stinks because he/she seems to be right at my ribcage. My last baby didn't drop until during labour, I have a feeling this one might be the same.

Woohoo! That's a good start! I never know how to tell for sure. I don't feel like this one has, but I know that people have been telling me that the belly looks lower than it did before. But I can't help feeling like they are imagining it.

I've decided I need to purchase a tuxedo and try to just pass as a penguin for the remainder of my pregnancy because boy do I have the waddle going on! The pressure is so crazy--it hurts just to stand and walking is so painful!

Ok, I'll stop whining now:)

No - you have all the right in the world to "whine" lol. I know the feeling. If I try to make it look like I'm not waddling when I walk it looks even worse. Like the hunchback of Notre Dame lunging around. I feel like the head is sitting right above the hole lol! It does hurt and there is a ton of pressure every time I stand up. Hopefully this is a good thing Smile
