Hey everyone! I am starting up this thread to see what everyone is up to this week. Things have been quiet(er) in here the past few days or so. I have been slacking on posting this week mostly because of the Chemistry exam I have been studying for - which is today >.< wish me luck! This is the last course I need before I can begin the training for my Histology certificate. Can't wait to be done with this class hehe!
In other events having to do with baby - I felt my first flutters the other day!!! It was definitely flutters. I remember the feeling from my first two but with them I didn't feel movement this early! I was so excited! DH and I were on the couch watching the season premiere of Walking Dead and I felt the jiggle! Then I felt them again when we were eating at a restaurant in Chinatown DC. DH says our little Jack-Jack must like frog legs and Chinese sausage haha! I have had the belly for a while but these flutters have really made it real for me. Like it finally sunk in. We are having a baby! *~squeeeal!~*
So what's everyone up to this week - what's been happenin? (related to baby or anything else too)
I agree-it's been so quiet here this week! Hope everyone is doing okay.
That's so exciting you felt flutters already! I keep thinking I might feel something any time!
I've had a rough week-feeling kind of blue, totally exhausted, and extremely sensitive. I'm
So tired of ppl a ting surprised that I "already" showing. I know I'm being more sensitive than usual, but still. I mean, I'm I'm my 30's and this isn't my first pregnancy, so yes, I'm gonna have a little belly going on. I think ppl just don't have the best tact with how to say things sometimes...
We leave in one week for our Disney vacation and we are all just beside ourselves with excitement!
Tomorrow we are taking the kids to boo at the zoo-Lucy is Snow White and Gabriel is Mickey Mouse
Those are the main highlights for us these days...
I am sorry you are having a down-week. I also showed very early this time (third pregnancy as well) and I am very self-concious every time I look in the mirror and see my stretch marks and already majorly popped belly. Don't worry though. I have come to realize that others see it as exciting and positive when they get to see a belly starting to show. They really don't mean it as a "you're getting fat too quickly and that's not normal" type of thing. Most are just really excited to see the change starting to become more apparent.
That's awesome that you will be able to get in your family vacation before you get too exhausted to do much. Perfect timing! And I'm sure your kiddos need this personal mommy time before baby comes too. Have a wonderful time!!! And hopefully you are able to get some relaxation time for yourself too! (i.e. spa while daddy has the kids for a few hours? hehe )
