    Default Dilation, effacement, yay!

So I had my (hopefully) last appointment today and showed about 1.5 cm dilated, 50% effaced and the baby is engaged at -2 cm. Yay! The OB says she expects that the baby will make his/her appearance right on time by this weekend. So relieved and excited. Praying that I will need no induction this time around, although Dr. says because my first was so large and second would have been as large (if not induced 2 weeks early) there is a possibility that it could be still on the table as an option. But if at all possible I told her I want this to be as natural as possible. So I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Still here, but having a lot of contractions lately. I'm so bad about timing them though. I only timed them once and it was so tedious that I just kinda gave up and watched a movie instead. I figure that when it's real, I'll know.

Good luck with your birth. It will be anytime now! I'm still pregnant here, and have a week left until my due date. I think I was about 1cm at my last appointment. I'm hoping for more progress by my next appointment.
