I can't wait for our forum to get busy and buzzing with new moms. I was on April 2007 and it was the most fun and great experienced. I learned so much and felt all kinds of support. I guess its still early yet and just like any expecting mom you don't want to jinx it till your officially in the clear so I understand. I still can't wait!!!!
I wish I could be a moderator. I think that would be pretty cool! Maybe on baby #3 I'll have more time lol.
I was here in June 06 and Feb 08. I can't remember my login from then though.
I had a blast then and formed some lifelong friendships from those boards. I am looking forward to this board getting more active.
You should do it! There is a forum where you can post up that you are willing to be a moderator and they may select you as one.
I also hope it picks up in here. I was here in 2006 for my first, and again as a moderator in 2009 with my second. It was an amazing experience to be here with all the expectant mommies! But it was a lot busier then. Come on mamas! Where are ya? Hehe
Kristin - Mom to 3 little boys and one baby girl
Would you say the traffic has died down since your last baby? It feels a little slower in response/participation for me...but then again I found pregnancy.org about 4 months into my pregnancy. so everybody was already there and active lol. I wonder when it will pick up? I've become obsessed with checking posts. lol
I'm excited too, this is our first DH (a pediatrician) said that April is really the best time for a newborn medically. It is after the flu and rsv season and then by the time season starts again in Oct, the baby is 6 months (out of the infant stage where rsv can cause harm) I'll be glad to have the built-in heater during winter, and being able to get out and about with baby in the nice springtime weather will be wonderful.
Kristin I think it was sneffiet but not positive.
I had a boy 2/25' Coltyn. He was one of if not the biggest baby born at 11 lb 1 oz.
Actually thinking about it I was more on the march board because I was due in march but he was early.
