Hello BFP!

Hi ladies! My EDD is 4/6. DH and I have been trying for 19 months and have had an early miscarriage and an ovarian ectopic. I am terrified this one won't stick. My first ultrasound is scheduled for 6 weeks so we can see if it's in the right place.

Thanks ladies. Yeah I am pretty terrified. I feel pretty detached from this pregnancy which I feel I need to be in order to protect myself. But I want to stay hopeful too.

well this pregnancy might be ending too. bled a little early this am. ultrasound shows a 5 week sac in the uterus (yay for not ectopic), no embryo (thought it is possibly too early to see), but my hcg was only 669. Another ultrasound on Monday will show whether it continues to grow or not. I am pretty emotional right now and Dr. google indicates that it's likely a miscarriage/blighted ovum.

I am so sorry that you are having to deal with this especially after everything you have already been through. I am praying that the ultrasound was just too early.

I bled on and off for 12 weeks with my first son. Hoping you have more answers at today's us.

I pray that it is just some intermittent bleeding. Good luck at your US! *hugs*

So i forgot to come update. Things got a bit weird. My next u/s showed only a little growth in the sac and a tiny yolk, but the tech said it didn't look normal for a 6week embryo. However, my HCG had doubled at the correct rate. Went back a week later and there was a heartbeat! Tech said embryo measures at 6 weeks 1 day, which is a whole week behind what we thought. I go back in on Monday for another us. I'm baffled as to how it's a week younger than we thought - my cycles are perfect 28 days, I chart and know based on a fertility monitor and my temp that I O'd on CD 14. Plus, I got my first bfp (very, very faint) on 12 DPO, which if conception actually happened a week later, would have been 5 days after conception, which is way too early to get a positive hpt. Craziness. I am still a nervous wreck that this one won't last.

I have saw this happen many times on here. One friend was advised it was not a viable pregnancy and to terminate. The day she went back for the procedure the Dr did another US only to find the baby was on track! Hang in there and don't loose faith!

Oh my God I have been thinking about you this week and I got goosebumps when I read your post this morning! I will continue to pray for you and baby. But that is an awesome update. So excited! Stay positive! *hugs* KUP!

Things are looking better, and DH and I are finally letting ourselves feel happy instead of detached. The us on Monday showed a faster hb and some great growth. I now won't go back in until 9/23 for the first trimester screening.

Congrats on your pregnancy. I hope this one sticks. Sounds like you have had a few ultrasounds which is reassuring.
