Default I have nothing to wear!

So, I'm just shy of 12 weeks and have hit that ever so lovely stage of having nothing to wear. My normal clothes make me look chunky, but maternity clothes just are too big and weird looking on me still. I've mostly been wearing leggings with long shirts to church, but we had a cold front come in this weekend, and I literally sat in my closet for a good hour if not two (not exaggerating) trying on just about everything in my closet. DH said, "you women are so funny-you so badly want to BE pregnant, but you don't want anyone to tell you that you LOOK pregnant!" Lol thankfully, I finally found something to wear and had several ppl comment that I looked really cute. I almost laughed because I wanted to say, "trust me, it was not without a WHOLE lotta effort!" LOL gotta love the inbetween stage, right?

Haha! Your DH is so right ^_^ Yeah I have hit the stage of putting all my "normal" clothing aside and I have select few things that I fit into now. I have started wearing black stretch pants with long shirts to work too. But yes in between is so awkward because if I tried to wear actual maternity stuff I'd just look silly, like an underinflated balloon.

I went on Pinterest the other day looking for maternity cloth ideas and got all these pix of tiny little wisp-legged models in their skinny jeans and tight shirts. THAT obviously isn't gonna help me:/ I'm having more trouble finding shirts that look right tho since I do have some pants that still work for me. My bbs have grown at an alarming rate, so literally nothing fits in the right places. My t shirts look sill on me even!

I am still fitting into my clothes, well at least many of them. I lost a lot of weight before I got pregnant, so I still have lots of "fat" clothes left over. I was wearing a size 10 before I got pregnant and those pants are tight, but my size 12's fit nicely with a belt. I have been choosing a lot of leggings and long t-shirts lately. My belly is getting bigger and bigger by the day! It's amazing how quickly I started showing this pregnancy!

I finally went to the maternity store yesterday and invested in some pants and some tops. I'm
12 weeks today, so I figure it is time to fully embrace the new belly!
