Could use a little imput - depo shot

I decided to stop taking the shot. [I was due for my second shot 9/29 but skipped] I had a light pink spotting around the 18th til the 22nd of Sept. and then really bad cramps around the first of October. And a weird AF from the 19th til the 23rd [stopped over night sometime]. I thought I was done [I hadn't bled all day] and then my boyfriend and I had sex last night and I started bleeding again.
Was this a messed up AF because of the shot? I know it's not because I'm pregnant. The thought has crossed my mind of implantation bleeding, but I know that is impossible.... right?
Just looking for imput and opinions..

Nothing is impossible so always test to be sure, but you are pbly right that this is most likely from the shot. It can take a few months to get things figured out with your system.

I had weird AF spotting (more brown and dry/sticky than AF spotting-red) too when I came off of Depo. I would get them for a few days or one day, then they would disappear and reappear sporadically. There was no set schedule for these. I didn't get a real AF for 3.5 months after my shot wore off. And even in between my AF's, I would still get these weird spottings. And yes, I got really bad lower back cramps.

I wouldn't get too nervous about it as long as you're now using other methods of contraception. Unless you're TTC, of course. If it persists, obviously go with your instincts and get checked out.
