18 Months!

I can't believe my baby is 18 months old already! He had his well check today and he is a big boy!

Height: 34 7/8
Wieght: 28 lbs
Head 19something

He's at the top of the charts. The Doc says you can estimate your child's adult height at the age of two by doubling their height. He's already predicting Drew will be over 6 foot! :shock:

We had our 18 month old appt. yesterday.

Height: 34"
Weight: 28 lbs.
Head: around 18 1/2

She is at the 95%tile for both height and weight. (Almost the same size as Drew!) The doc. said not to worry about her size because she is completely porportionate. All in all, a good appt.

We had Mo's 18 month appt.

She got 4 shots :cry: poor baby

HC 19.5" Off the chart (she's got a big head like her daddy and sister)

Morgans's doc estimated that she will be between 5'8" and 5'9". Not sure who she could get that from, I'm 5'4" and Michael is 5'5" She said Morgan will most likely always be slim.

She's wearing 12-18 months and size 3 diaper. She's my little peanut!

Only had one shot, Hep A (there was an outbreak here so I wanted it). One more Hep A at 2 years old and then nothing till she's 4!!

Head: 18 1/2" (61%)

Unfortunately, she is still completely closed tight, like Ashley. I now have to put the cream in both girls and Ashley goes back next week and Sarah the next week. So I'll be there this whole month! The doc was concerned about this and said she could get a kidney infection. So now I'm worried.

He is wearing size 2 tops and some size 2 pants, and size 4 dipes but will be switching to 5s soon.

Ped said his only 8 or so words are right on target- said normal was 3-10 words at this age. She said he looks great developmentally and is advanced at overhead ball-throwing :lol:

He's grown just over 2 inches in the last 3 months... but actually LOST a pound in that time (I guess with all his energy has been going to getting taller... plus being SO active)... though mommy's arms will tell you he certainly FEELS heavier!! :lol:

All is well, the resident was concerned about the weight but the regular doc isn't at all!

The doc said his lack of weight gain is not a cause for concern, but he wanted me to be aware of it. He was impressed with his vocab and signing. He expressed concern about Aden still breastfeeding and gave me a spiel on it. :? Aden got one shot, and it was so fast he barely cried, but he got blood drawn for lead and he hated that because it took longer and I had to hold him tightly. His lead levels were fine though.

Also, the examination room was full of FISH, so that was exciting to Aden.

Christina had hers on Friday

Height: 32 inches. She grew 5 inches in 3 months.
weight: 20 lbs 13 ozs.
head : 18 in.

She'll be tall and slim probobly. I didn't get percentiles though, it was so busy they took measurments after the doctor was in. She is happy that we are still breastfeeding, and offered to call my cardiologist if he gives me problems with nursing and surgury. She was impressed that Christina is begining to say small sentances and phrases (I love Mama, I want to eat) Christina had to get 3 shots. But she was fine after nursing.

He hasn't had a growth spurt in awhile, so I expect he's getting ready to hit one.

Weight: 23 [ same as 12 months ]. She actually gained an ounce haha
Height: 33 inches [ almost 34 ]. She had a major growth spurt so the doctor said that's probably why she didn't gain much weight. I'm not too worried about it though. She eats like there's no tomorrow

She's doing really well over all though so that's all that matters ! She got two shots and didn't even cry. She made a face like HEY, WHAT'S THAT ? but she had a lollipop and once I picked her up she started laughing. She takes after her Mom

Her vocabulary is growing. She can say phrases and words so she's good in that department, also
