Kassie finished her meds for her ear infections so I took her for a check up to make sure they are gone. The poor thing still has one infected ear, AND a broncial caugh.
This is after 3 courses of oral meds, 3 sets of ear drops, 4 courses of IV antibotics, and steriods (the IV and steroids were while we were in the hospital last week)
When we went to the ER the ped said that it sounded like she had a little heart murmer also  She didn't know if it was real, or from the stress of everything so I made our reg. doc check her out and sure enough...she has a heart murmer! He said it was a small one (what he called a 2 over 6) and it is not serious) But I am a little freaked out. He didn't give me much detail, so someone fill me in on what this is. Is it dangerous? How often should she be checked out? Is there anything she shouldn't do? Does it change any medications that she can have?????
I have to call her ENT tomorrow morning. But I cant even take her in to see him as I am scheduled for surgery tomorrow myself. I just want to scream!!!
