Is anyone there??
How are you??
:biglaugh:
Just checkin' in! How's everyone doing today? How are your little ones?
David is asleep for the night. Little booger ...he asked to go "night night" and went right down. So sweet!

Hi I'm just happened to stop by today. It's sad the way this is so quiet. I do like seeing you over on the debate board though. :)
I love it when the kiddos realize they need to sleep and ask. It's rare here but it's super cute!
We are actually in the midst of figuring out if we are moving to Tennesse or Atlanta. So we are pretty busy with that.
I hope everyone else is happy and healthy!

We are all doing well.
Ridley goes down pretty quickly for his nap and he likes to go to bed. I ask him "do you want momo?" and he nods his head and smiles. He likes his forward facing car seat too. I think he feels like a really big boy next to his big brother.

I check in every few days. Although I didn't post tons, I miss reading about all the Cuties. I still don't know where to *find* everyone. I know where you all went, just don't know how to get there. :(
We're doing good. Alex is starting to talk a little more. It's been difficult with a very chatty older brother and enough grunting to make everyone understand what he wants or needs. He's been mastering the art of walking down stairs, which scares the heck out of me, but he's actually getting quite good!
Congrats Julya on your pg'cy! I need a preggo update! How's everyone doing? Did Peggy have Chloe yet? I know Greta was due in the summer too. How are Erin and Kristen and everyone else I'm sure I'm forgetting. Ugh. I'm so out of touch!

I still check in every few days. I'm still very active on the site, this board just seems to have died a bit.

Hello all!!! Finally we are getting some rain here! Yiippeee!!!!
Sabine - you are moving again?? Didn't you just move to Charlotte?
I also love it when they ask to go to bed. It doesn't happen tooo often here, but it does happen occasionally!!! ;)

Hi Ladies... I know I am not a very active poster but I have also lurked a lot.. learnt lots of things and had lots of questions answered about pregnancy and babies from this board. It's sad it is soo quiet!
My son AD is 19 months now and only says 3 words.. I work in Early Intervention so I think I am going to refer him for an evaluation if he hasn't picked up many more words within the next two months. He runs around everywhere and is obsessed with animals, it is really cute!
Anyway, have a lovely weekend :)

Yup we moved to Charlotte in July. Sadly Dh's job did not work out so he's looking for a new job with a better contract. :)

Sabine - I hope he finds a great job.
I'm still around - just not posting much because I've been extremely sick for over a month now.

i'm here! I haven't been around much at all but feeling bored today and checked it out. I'm fairly intimidated by the new format so I guess that's what's kept me away mostly. Lexi is doing good, not talking hardly at all and I'm starting to be a little concerned but I figure that she is communicating just fine and she has some words so I think she is just choosing to not talk. Glad to see people are still around!

Great to see everyone!! Fun!!
Donna -- I'll PM you the link.
Sabine -- move to TN! It's great here! Go Vols!! :biglaugh:
Charis -- I bet AD is doing just fine. It took David forever to walk (he was 16 months), then one day he just took off. Now, you'd never know it took him so long, kwim?
So ...how was everyone's Halloween??

Noah slept yesterday for his nap and last night without his paci finally! :yahoo: I've been ready to get rid of that thing.

How did you wean him from his paci? AD is addicted! We have managed to take it away from him for most of the day, but the second he gets cranky or tired it is all he wants. I'd love to hear what you did!

Hi! We're still here, just busy. JD is 20 months old and Nicky is now 3 weeks old, so they keep us hopping! Glad to see there's still some people around this old board! Glad to see Layne checking in too!

We just took it! I wasn't planning on doing it that day but it was time for his nap and his paci was lost, so I just tried putting him down without it. He asked for it once or twice before nap but went right to sleep. After his nap he asked for it once or twice but then he forgot about it! He does have a blankie that he still sleeps with though and I'm not planning on taking that from him.
We also took his bottles away the same way. Once we started giving him real milk instead of formula, the bottles disappeared and were replaced by sippies. He didn't miss the bottles either.
