Cycle Beads (xp)

Anyone hear of them? www.cyclebeads.com I have a friend that got pg the 1st timeshe tried. Basically its a string of beads....white and red. You move one white bead over every day, until you get to the red ones (those are CD 8-19) you BD on the red days, your fertile window. My question....can you really BD 11 days in a row? Physically exhausting, yes...but what about his swimmers? How long does a male, with no fertilty problems (that we know of) need to regenerate more sperm? Is the quality of the sperm less if you BD too much?

Hmmm...the beads just sound like a counter to me...the basic rule of thumb is that, if you are O'ing when you're supposed to, you'll O 14 days prior to the onset of your period. My problem is that I don't O 14 days prior to AF, more like 11 days prior...too short to sustain a pregnancy. And you don't actually have to bd every day, more than one dr (RE included) has said that, assuming dh is producing adequate sperm count, every other day is sufficient. In a fertile environment, sperm can live for up to 5 days, and it takes men approximately 24 hours to replenish fully. My approach is to bd every other day until the 3 days prior to expected O, then bd everyday for 4 days, then go back to every other day for another 4-6 days, just in case my cycle is longer than expected.
