their hair got insanely oily? i used to be able to go at least every other day with washing my hair, and now i just cant. does it ever go away?

My hair became oilier for awhile too. Your hormones are off track so it should regulate unless this is just how your body will be with the normal horomes at work. I tihnk it's an effect of progesterone so once you are regulated, you may only notice it after you ovulate.

I noticed that my scalp got a little more oily after going off BC also. It seems to be getting better though.

I never thought about it but I went off about 3 weeks ago and since then I was thinking that I just have not been getting the conditioner out of my hair at 5:30am. hmmmmmm that is interesting.

My hair was always a little oily, and becasue it is so thin if I don't wash my hair everyday I have to put it in a ponytail the 2nd day because it gets greasy. But now that you mention it...mine has gotten even worse since going off BCPs. Damn hormones are going mad!!

I agree with Jenn. I also have thin hair and have to wash it every day, but it has gotten worse since being off the pill. I've noticed my skin has gotten a little worse too. Fun stuff!

Wish I ran across this topic earlier! I went off bc in feb and noticed that the last few weeks my hair has gotten oiler, thought it was just my imagination but if this can be a excuse for it, im happy to know the answer!

That is so crazy!! I haven't made the connection, but now that you say it, I am having the same problem. I just told my hubby today that my hair looked greasy and I just washed it this morning. Now I know. :confused:
