DS has decided he will only sleep in our bed!!! This is really unusual for him, he's slept through the night, and in his own room since he was only a couple of months old.

I don't know if he's suddenly decided he's afraid on the dark; or the noise of the heating going on & off scares him (it's Vegas, I only switched it on a couple of weeks ago), but, now, just around the time we go to bed, he's waking up, crying and refusing to go back down, unless he comes in with us.

We managed to get him back in his own bed on Sunday, but not Saturday night or last night. So, no getting lucky for me! Fortunately, I'm still "gearing up" at the moment, and haven't seen that +OPK yet, but I sure hope this passes before I do.

He must have changed his mind about wanting a little brother ~ we were only joking about that a couple of months ago, because he likes to empty the bathroom cabinet of all my Tampax and hide them around the bedroom, or throw them in the trash, so we thought he was trying to tell us something!

I hope this is just a short phase, Karen. If it is still going on when you O, you may have to ship him off to his grandparents or something so that you and your hubby can get some "Alone time!"

Oh no what a pain. This must be so frustrating for you. Have you tried carrying him back in to his own bed when he is asleep? My dd sometimes used to sleep in with us, and when she fell asleep dh would carry her back through to her own room. It only took a few days of doing this and then she happily stayed in her own bed. Perhaps one of those little plug in night lights may help to make him feel a little better? and also a good trick is to take each night as it comes and offer a reward for each full night he spends in his 'big boy bed' I think the thing is the more time they are allowed to stay in with us, the more they want too and the harder it gets to stop.

Hope you resolve it before O time!!

ROFL, that is too funny about the tampax! my DS tries to flush mine down the toilet...

I hope your son stops impeding your progress to make him a big brother!

Oh no! How frustrating! I hope it is just a temporary phase. My only suggestion would be to dtd before your normal bedtime, so before the time he wakes.

Hopefully its temporary. However, you and DH can take advantage of this and create a new Baby making spot in the house ;)...My DH said he was to DTD in our new garage(TMI)

I'm sorry Karen!!! DD started doing that when we were going to try for the baby...we would strap her in her highchair during the day with some snacks and ran off for some :lovebed: more than once!!!
