My son is have his surgey on friday. I am so happy and scared at the same time. I am just hoping the does the trick and he can stop being so sick. Please keep us in your prayers as he is under the knife.

my prayer is for my grandfather. he is very ill and they dont know what is slowly killing him. he lives in FL so we cant get there very easily, so i'm hoping i can see him before he passes away. But my prayer is that he makes a full recovery!

My prayer is to continue to be able to keep my family safe and out of harms way.

I need to thank God for watching over my family last night. My house almost burned down because of my stupidness, the string on one of those helium balloons got caught in the motor of the fan and I don't know how long it was caught up before I woke up. But I just wanted to thank Him for watching over us.

I will continue to pray that he watches over everyone's family also.

I am having surgery on April 19th. They found cancerous cells on my cervix. I had three biopsies and they all came out with the same results. So, let's hope they can get rid of it!!!!

Please say a prayer for my step-grandfather who has stage four cancer and on hospice that he goes peacefully and for my grandmother that she has enough strength to deal with this all. She lost my grandfather six years ago to a heart attack and just remarried last year. Shortly after they found out he had cancer of the intestines than it spread to his liver, lungs and just last week it was found in his brain. Thank you all! This is a really tough time for my family.

I don't need prayer for me, but for a friend who is going through a rough time.

She had a very rough pregnancy with many complications, the baby was born healthy, but a cystic fibrosis carrier. She has two other children, one needs special care. She is still having health issues and needs a complete hysterectomy but no insurance. She is in constant pain with Fibro Myalga (sp?) and her and her dh are having major marital problems.

She is a sweet lady who I condsider a very dear friend and I hate to see her going through all this. We talked for 2 hours on yahoo messenger last night and she is very depressed with life right now.

I just ask for prayer that God gives her strength and hope that their marriage can be saved.

Please pray for me. I have severe Crohn's disease and no health insurance currently. I am currently having a flare which has made my arthritis so bad I can hardly open my mouth to eat, bend down, walk, much less take care of Myriah. I've lost 15lbs in the last week too from vomiting/ etc.

I just need prayers that it gets no worse so I don't have to be hospitalized because I have no one to take care of her. Thank you so much.

Please pray for my tiny family. My dear dear DH, Bob (29) has been having bad chest pains. He finally went to the doctor today. The doc said his EKG looked normal at the moment but he wanted him to relax until thursday when they will do a stress test and will figure out what is going on. The doc is worried because just about everyone in my DH's family has heart problems and some have died from them.

The verdict as of now is it's either heart problems or just anxiety attacks. Please pray that it is just the latter. I can always stuff happy pills down his throat but I can't make his heart better! :cry:

Please pray for my friend Sarah. They beleive she is miscarrying. She is having marrow tests done, but they don't think the baby will make it.

Edited - The baby didn't make it. They are performing the D&C today. She's falling apart, and its not like her. Normally shes very matter of fact, non emotional person.

my mom went in for her surgery this morning its a 7 to 10 hour surgery to remove her caner... her entire bladder has to come out and a few other things, please pray for everything to go well and for her to be okay. Plus im sick i have the flu and i cant even go see her.

It seems rude of me to ask for thoughts/prayers for this subject after reading all the stories above but here it goes anyway. My husband and I are relocating to a new area about 1.5 hours from where we are now. We need some good luck vibes finding a new home and that dh finds a good paying job. Money is tight right now which is the main reason for the move in the first place and dh current job pays poorly. It's causing a strain on our relationship being on such hard times so we really need this. Please pray that my family can get over these hard times.

Well update, Ive been taking prednisone and it is helping somewhat with my bone pain until my insur kicks in and I can get REAL treatment

on another subject though, not sure if many know but my mother is a breastcancer survivor. She has had chemo, radiation, full masectomy, and a bone-marrow transplant. She will be cancer-free 5yrs this sept.

They have recently been watching 3 lesions in both lungs. Today the scan showed one lesion grew 3cm in 3mths, which makes one lesion 8cm long (NOT GOOD)

Please pray that these lesions are benign. I am so scared because I know that breast cancer almost always loves to mestasize to the lungs. We all know how devastating lung cancer is. Thank you all so much!

Please pray for my grandfather. He's got six months to live, nine if the chemotherapy works. The cancer is a lot further than they originally had thought. But the fact is, his heart may take him much sooner than the cancer. It's only working at 17% capacity from the heart attacks.

Please pray for my best friend Heather. She is pregnant(Due in december 07) She has had many, many miscarriages. The most recent was a few months ago. She is scared to death, and dosent feel like she can handle another loss. She has her first appointment on May 8th. Please pray for her and her baby to survive.

I want to pray for all the ladies on this board along with their families, I know we all have our own lives and we are all moving in so many directions but I just wanted you to know eveything will be ok. God has plans for each of us. So if you are heartbroken now don't worry he will fix your heart and it will be new again. If you dh is stressing you out don't worry he can fix that too and he can fix the relationship and heal the pain you are feeling. If your job has you down don't worry God has a plan for you. If being a SAHM has you feeling out of touch don't worry God has not forgot. He loves all of us and he will take care of us. If he said that he will do it, then it will come to pass he has not forgot. Take care ladies. I love each of you with my spirit.

We have a very dear friend at church who is about 25. She was born with birth defects but has lived longer than the doctors thought she would....I guess God had work for her on this earth and he is the one who decides, not the doctors.

Well, we got a phone call this morning from another woman from church and we were informed that they have called hospice for her now and I want to ask for prayers for her and her family. Her name is Jackie and I know its almost her time to be with God and I would just ask for prayers for strength for her and her family.

My cousin Ashley has severe medical problems with her uterus (don't know exactly what) and was told as a child that she would never have children. After years of unprotected sex with her SO she has suddenly become pregnant, but has been told by her Dr that it could kill her to keep the baby. She says she never wanted children, but I don't really believe that it's true. She is faced with a very hard decision to go through with a dangerous pregnancy or have an abortion. Either way.... I'm so scared for her.
