Ok. Round one!

I need to tell you somethings about my life first so the pictures make sense. Dh and I have been married 12 years, and have moved 11 times. We really are not committmentphobes, we just needed to go where the opportunities for growth were. Some of those moves were just to a different place in the same town, so it is not as bad as it sounds.

DH is a photographer, he worked in Chicago as an assistant to commerical photographers and worked on cool campaigns for Lamaze and Learning Curve. He actually built the sets and made some of the images that are used for Thomas the Tank Engine ads. All that to say, we have kind of a transient, industrial look going on... and to make matters worse, we are crammed in a one bedroom but it's temporary until we buy a house in summer.

My best friend did the exact same thing with her first...They were living in a one-bedroom with a huge walk-in, so they set up the nursery in the walk-in. I thought it was the coolest idea because the baby was right there next to their bedroom. Heck, the walk-in was about the same size as the bedroom I grew up in!

I love the fresh feel of your place Jacqui! Very nice! Your DD is so amazing adorable! LOVE IT! opps! I forgot to post the salsa recipes...

I don't usually measure much with this, just kinda do it to taste

1 large or 2 small cloves of fresh garlic
1/2 fresh Jalapeno pepper (without seeds)
1/4-1/2 bunch fresh cilantro (to taste)
1/2 small onion

Puree in food processor!

About 10 Roma tomatoes (or a bunch a cherry tomatoes works well too)
3-6 shakes of Tabasco (depending on your tolerance for heat)
Juice of 1/2 a lime
sprinkle of salt
1 teaspoon of sugar or 1/4 cup canned peaches if tomatoes lack flavor

Puree in food processor again!
For best results serve with a generous Margarita and a huge bowl of chips! (but not until baby arrives) Hope you enjoy!
