Just wondering if I'm the only weirdo who switches kids to a toddler bed at this age. :D We moved Stella last week, and she just luuvs her "Dowa" sheets.

Umm we're still in an infant carrier. No plans to switch to a bed yet.

Abby is sleeping in a full mattress on the floor. She has been for a couple of months now. I figured out that the reason she was not STTN was because she kept bumping into her crib, now that she has room she STTN almost every night.

not until I absolutely have to. I don't want to risk him waking up in the middle of the night & wandering around the house unsupervised!

Uh, no. I would never find the kid! There is no way he would stay in a bed. By this age my oldest was in a reg twin bed and I never had a problem with him but Zack is the complete opposite.

We're waiting until the fall, after we get through the craziness of Sept.

NO! K loves her crib and we are happy with it how it is. I think it will be a long while before we switch. So glad Stella thinks it's fun though, that's great that she'll stay there, I'm impressed!

Jenn, isn't she too tall for the infant carrier or do you have one of those fancy ones? :)

I have recently set up Cam's new room w/ a full size bed, but have yet to put him in it. I wanted to transition him before the baby comes, but I'm not sure that will happen. He seems to need the confinement right now. Who knows, maybe he'll do better than I think.

Not us. Caylee's still in her crib. She has a hard time falling asleep at night, so I think if it was a toddler bed we'd never get her to sleep because she's escape! Depending on when we TTC#2, we may just move her into a twin bed instead of slowly transitiong her from the crib, to a toddler bed, etc.

Yeah, I figured I was probably the odd man out...I just hate seeing them behind bars. Both of mine were moved at this same age, and the only difference is that she hasn't figured out how to get out of the bed yet, because of the rails we put on and the "headboard" and "footboard" rails. Lucas always got out, but we just would go back in and put him back in bed, and put a child-lock on the door for a little while. Also, as my kids have never been big nappers, it works well for them to be able to get out and play in their rooms (as soon as she figures out how) because we do a "quiet time" no matter what.

Your not the odd man out sweetie! We are thinking about switching fairly soon too. All of mine were in a twin bed or toddler bed by this age because they slept so much better. Glad she likes her Dora sheets!!

He's still in his crib and will stay there until he's 3 or starts to climb out! :)
DD1 climbed out at 18 months and dd2 at 17 months so if he's gonna do it it could be soon - I hope not. I do have a crib tent that I will probably use until I feel like moving him out.

Not yet for us either. I am going to wait until he begins to attempt climbing out or until baby #2 whichever comes first. He sleeps very well in his crib or any area with "walls" around it. (i.e. pack and play...). Everytime I have had him in a bed, he is anxious and restless. I need to get some gates before we switch too. I'm so glad that those of you in beds are doing so well!

Elam has been in a big boy now for about 6 months. Our problem wasn't that he was getting out, but that his sister was getting in. We did whatever we could think of to keep her out and then finally broke down and moved him to a twin bed. Bed time is a often a nightmare around here, but I think that it would be regardless of if he was in a crib, and he sleeps like an angel in his bed. I will hopefully leave the next one in a crib much longer, it sure makes life easier.

We are still in a crib. We tried a toddler bed, but 2/3 nights she was asleep on the floor when we got up. :-?
