Stretchmarks

Anybody else got them yet? I was soooo hoping to avoid them but my tummy now looks like a road map of the Spaghetti Junction! Not pretty! LOL

Any of you who have managed to avoid them...I am so envious!

Well, this is my 3rd baby. I managed to avoid them up until the last 4 weeks with my first. With my second just a couple new stretch marks appeared, and now there isn't any new ones YET.

I started getting them at 10 weeks. I really don't think there's any way to avoid them. The creams and lotions and all that crap doesn't work!

My belly is horrible. I will NEVER ever show my belly in public again for the rest of my life. I got them so bad with my son. I hope I don't get any new ones. I don't see how it is possible.

It is partly genetics. This is my 5th pregnancy and I don't have any (knock on wood) I hope I don't get any with my last one. That would really suck.

It is genetic and so far my boobs are the only thing under attack. Nothing a little laser can't fix.

None here so far.... I do the cream each morning and I have been lucky to date. 9 more weeks to go, we shall see :)

I don't have any yet, but I'm not convinced I won't get them at all. I have a few on my boobs, but those were there way before the baby (since puberty? lol). I don't think my mom got them too bad, so maybe I'll get lucky. Only time will tell!

I have a few on my tummy which I was okay with because the doc said they weren't bad and would fade fast but now I'm starting to get a few on my boobs, I'm so sad :(

I got my first one yesterday on my lower tummy at 31wks! I thought I wouldn't get them since my mom didn't but I guess I'm not so lucky!

I do think it's genetics also. My mom didn't get any with either of her pregnancies but she only gained 20 lbs with both of us too... I haven't gotten them yet but I am now up 27 lbs.. I think alot of times they show up at the very end.

I have some from the first two pregnancies, but they are just faint white lines. I don't get the dark ones. They also aren't very visible once my belly gets back to normal post-partum, so I consider myself lucky. My mom was the same way.

MY first son who was 10 lbs at birth gave me 2 small ones when I was 40 weeks pregnant!!!!! He was born 5 days late, had he been born ON TIME I would not have had ANY. Bummer - but oh well they faded really quickly and are barely visible, so far I don't have any. Fingers crossed!!!!

I have them, all over. They are totally about genetics--my mom has them too. With my first baby, I didn't get any anywhere until two weeks before he was born. :( Unfortunately, I have gotten more and more each each kid lol!

I remember how mad I was with dd1...I didn't get a single stretch mark until i was 39 weeks with her...but now they are starting to get darker, and a few are starting to get longer...
