Hi all. This has been so much fun looking around for 1st birthday stuff. It's everywhere online! Here's the one we finally settled on... Unicorns! I'm so excited! And there's a free shipping code if you spend over $75 that I used!

I got the pinata and little game along with the paper goods and invites (didn't need the package deal stuff- rip off!)

I loved that it was purple and fairly girly though not PINK. I also loved (and got) these:

The other site I found adorable was that one you guys suggested: birthdayinabox.com. I may still get the cute little "high chair decoration kit" from them...

Let's see your ideas!

We are going with a country/farm theme. This is what I have decided on so far red/white checker table cloths, cow pinata and some hay bales for decorations. Kaycee's invitation I will more than likely do on shutterfly with a picture of her on it kind of like the one in my siggy but not 100% sure yet.

I LOVE this idea! It is so fitting for the time of year as well.

I haven't decided on a theme yet but it will NOT be Halloween...that is what everyone is expecting but personally I think Halloween is a day of it's own...we should do something different for his birthday.

I almost hate thinking about her 1st bday. I want her to be a baby for a while longer. But I was thinking either Disney Fairies(Tink) or Strawberry Shortcake. Big brother, Blake, wants to design the cake. He's an aspiring chef.

I love this! I think I might make cupcakes instead of a cake and make it into a design of the number 1.

This is what my sister did with my niece's 1st birthday. She was born in Sept. It was very cute and very fitting!

I have no idea yet. I was thinking of rubber ducks, but that's what I did for Noah's first birthday. I saw somewhere there was this prince theme and everything was light blue and silver. I think that would be really nice. I will make the invitations myself using my Microsoft Digital Image Suite. We're having his party Sept 16th because that is also his baby dedication day at church. I'm going to either get 2 cakes, one for each occasion, only make them smaller than I normally would have, or I'll find a suitable one to cover the double occasion.
