Nothing happening here today. I planned on driving the 2 hours to go see my mom but I barely slept at all last night so I am not going, I don't trust myself to drive that long when I am this tired.
I will get to the store though I need to buy a waterproof sheet or something for the pack and play. K (day care child) has wet the pnp twice now and apparently talking to mom has been wetting the bed a lot lately.
Zack is cutting another tooth so grumpiness is all around today.

Hope you all have a great day.

Leah

Good morning!!

We had a great day yesterday. Went to the beach, which was fun, not relaxing AT ALL, but fun!!! Then we went out to eat for my dad's birthday and it was SO yummy. Then we came home, had cake (OMG, it is SO good) and then we went for a 2 mile walk last night at 9:30. Good exercise no matter how late it was!!!!!

Getting ready to head to Belk for a shopping spree on this tax free weekend!! WOO-HOO!!! I'm going to try to restrain myself as we just paid the Belk card off, so I need to try to keep it under control. We shall see though. I have a hard time resisting a bargain!!!

After that, I'm not sure what we are doing. Have a great day ladies!!!

Morning!

Leah--sorry about K! I didn't sleep well last night either. I hate that.

MC--Congrats on the walk and the yummy food!!!

Well as for me, I came over to my mom and dad's at 6 this morning to take care of my mom. I then have my nieces 12th birthday party today. Probably swimming...we'll see if I'm up to it. I was going to clean my parent's house today...dad doesn't do it...and so it's all on me. I'm just so stinkin tired!!! Oh well. Have a great day everyone!!!

Hello All!
I am headed to the grocery store here in a little bit. Then we need to get the grass cut. Other than that we are not doing much of anything. After we do the yard we might head out for milkshakes. Have a great weekend all.

MC - Do I need to remind you of Dave Ramsey's course info again ;) It's tax free weekend here, but I didn't have it in me to go shopping. Plus I'll get my $$ from the consignment sale next weekend.

We just got back from getting my glasses redone. They totally screwed up the prescription. It was fun. Thank goodness Costco was nearby so C, daddy and I got that done and had pizza and hotdogs for lunch. Randy asked if C is that high energy and disobedient all of the time now and I just laughed. He just hasn't seen the recent toddlerisms of Christopher.

I LOVE Dave Ramsey Tracey. Tre and I read his book before we got married. I highly recommend it to anyone in debt. Good thing is, we aren't!!! We use CC's but only if we actually have the $$ to pay them off. Plus, we NEVER, EVER pay interest, no matter what.

I spent less than $100 -- GO ME!!!

Taking a break to check in late. Fighting "bad mommy" guilt for being near my kids this weekend, but not doing a darn thing WITH them. Oh well, can't be helped. Chris is gone until tomorrow night and my parents are out of town. Chris' parents are fixing the fence in their backyard so they have their hands full with their own stuff. Such is life, right?

I have a friend who is in a really bad place with life right now and have probably spent about 5 hours with her on the phone in the last two days. I love her to death and am so glad to be there for her, but it's exhausting and is bringing some sadness back to me that I've gone through before. I am just so sad for her and have been praying my heart out for and with her.

Wanna hear what I've done so far today? Cleaned the range hood over the stove, cleaned all of the blinds downstairs (including a good scrub to the ones in the kitchen - that took FOREVER), the fridge inside and out, the windows and tracks downstairs, cleaned the stove and burners, sprayed the oven, cleaned the storm door and front door -- I hadn't scrubbed that down in over a year I bet -- yuck! I'm already exhausted but I just made a "to do" list and it includes 11 things for downstairs and 12 for upstairs. Lovely. I don't know if I'll get it all done but I'm busting my butt trying.

Of course, the one day I *really* need good naps out of G, M pulled this metal race car tin (used to hold m&ms) apart and it made this huge crash and she woke up 35 minutes into it this morning. I just put her back down for attempt #2, so hopefully she'll sleep for at least an hour and a half.

Okay -- break over. Back to work.

All in all -- I've had better weekends.

LADIES!!! :D

It's nice to be around to say hello. Our DSL crashed earlier this week so I have been internet free all week. Holy cow, talk about withdrawls!! :( Besides, it's amazing how dependent we become with it. I couldn't pay the bills, needed directions and other stuff like that! We had cable internet installed this morning and man, our DSL was fast but this is approx. 6 times faster! It's amazing.

Anyways, it's been a busy week around here. I have been cleaning out closets and sorting the boys clothes. I had a 30% off friends and family coupon for Gap Kids so after sorting their stuff, we headded over to the mall and went to town at Gap kids... :D (Thankfully MC hasn't told hubby about those damn envelopes yet!)

It's hard to believe that I am getting Spencer ready for 1st grade. Oh, where did my little boy go? He's getting soooo big. Cooper is doing fantastic, speaking more and more and more words every single day. Things that you would never expect an 18 mo year old to say. We were at costco and I said "We have to go down this isle to get Spencer's allergy medicine." He pointed to it and replied "ahgee menicine". It cracked me up. He is also demanding "song" in the car if he can't hear the music or a commercial is on. Darn cute.

Ok, well I have to get going, Hubby and Spencer will be back any minute from getting hair cuts and we have to get going to a swim party with some friends...

HAVE A HAPPY WEEKEND LADIES AND BABIES!

p.s. Cooper had his first sleep over last night at Grammy and Pa's house. He did GREAT! Not an unhappy moment for not being at home. I'm sure that having Spencer there helped a bunch. Mommy and Daddy AND Gromit on the other hand, had serious anxiety going on!

MC - you know I'm totally pullin' your chain on that one. I know you're a good girl when it comes to the money. Randy pulled that one on me this morning...

No time to post, just catching up with everyone. Just wanted to say Dave Ramsey is my HERO. Can't say enough good things about him.

We're getting ready to go to a rodeo. A little, high school FFA rodeo. We get together with friends and go every year. Its a blast. Especially the calf scramble :)
