It started yesterday (friday) morning, there was only a couple here and there on her face, stomach, back, neck and arms. Now it's still in all the same places but just worse.....like in the pic. There's none on her legs, feet or hands.
I thought maybe it was a heat rash, but I though that showed up in the folds of her skin, neck area or diaper area. I also thought that maybe it was an allergic reaction to something, but she really hasn't had anything out of the ordinary.
They're not pimple-like or blisters, just lil red raised spots. They're on her face, neck, arms, back, chest and stomach. They don't seem to bother her, cuz she's not scratching them. She felt like she had a slight fever thursday night when she went to bed although I didn't take her temp, and then when she woke up she had 'em.
I'm just hoping that it's only heat rash. BUt if they don't go away by monday, I'll take her to the doctors.
Oh and she's been a bit fussy and cranky.
Thanks ladies.

oh poor thing! My first guess would be hives especially since they spread and got worse. You can certainly eat/use something that you're not allergic to before and then suddenly be allergic to it... it has happened to me before.
I'm not sure what else it would be :(

Did she just have the MMR vaccine??? If so, thats probably it!! Daniel had a rash just like that about 10 days after his shots. 10% of kids get it after the MMR. Not to worry, it goes away pretty fast, I think Daniels was totally gone within a week. Daniel didn't have much issues with them. He never ran a fever, but his ped said he might. And that he might get worse with the rash before it would get better. Here are a few pics of his

Couldn't it also be the chicken pox? Who knows.
I would just say if it doesn't go away by monday, maybe you should call the Dr.

You know... when DD#1 had a bad case of chicken pox, that is what it looked like when it started. You might want to get that checked. Ruby had a small case of chicken pox here a couple of months ago, similar looking spots, just a lot fewer of them.

THanks for posting ladies, but I think what Annie1995 posted is probably what it is. She did just have her MMr shot on July 24th, and they look exactly like the pics that you posted. Thank you so much for posting, I feel so much better. I was worried that it might be chicken pox but DH's mom said that it wasn't and didn't look like them either. I'll call her ped on monday just to be on the safe side. Thanks a bunch!!

Blake had the same type of reaction after his MMR. Glad you feel better about it. She shouldn't be uncomfortable for long if it is even bothering her. :)

My oldest DS had chicken pox at 4 months of age. If it were chicken pox, there would definately be blisters. Glad you feel better, and I'm sure she'll be fine in a few days!!! My ped did say they are NOT contagious, so don't worry about spreading anything around :D

Sweetie please do a glass test, just to be extra 100% sure that it is NOT meningitis.
