Hi! I'm Amy. This month marks 3 years TTC for us. And also; after 7 rounds of injectables and IUI, one pregnancy/miscarriage, laparoscopy to remove a blood clot left from the m/c; our first round of IVF. I take my last BCP tonight and I'm already on one injection (Lupron) that is making me a little insane today-the hot flashes are insane! I start my stim injections in a week and we are looking at egg ret. sometime during the week of Aug. 20th. I'm excited, but very, very nervous! Hope I get to stick around here for a long, long time!

Nice to meet you Amy! Boy you have been through the wringer, but it'll all be worth it when you get your BFP. I really hope this is your month (and mine too!) and we can stay on this board together!
Will you have a choice how many little guys you can transfer? If so, do you have any ideas of how many you will do?

At my age (I'll be 33 in Sept.), my dr. will transfer 2 embryos. If I was 35, he would do 3. I had my baseline ultrasound this morning to make sure I have no cysts hanging around and I'm clear! But in pain-the Dr. was pretty rough with that probe this morning!

Ewww TWINS, that would be so exciting if they both stick!!

How long before they are transferred after the egg ret?
Sorry to ask so many questions, just curious.

I don't mind questions at all! After retrieval it's 3-5 days until they do the transfer. It depends on how the embies do and also, I hear, your schedule. I'm a teacher and not working this summer, so I'll take them as soon as they are ready! I would love to have boy/girl twins and never have to go through any of this ever again. But one perfect baby would be wonderful, as well.

That awesome! So you'll be preggers soon! I really do wish you the very best of luck. I will be following your story, I just think it's amazing what doctors can do (with some help from you know who) now adays.
