Talk about lousy timing! We had our IUI this morning and the first thing I see when I came into the hospital is this: Childbirth Preparation Class signs everywhere! So while we were waiting for our sample to be washed there was a stream of extremely pg women carrying pillows coming in for the class. I tried to remind myself that surely some of them were infertility success stories but it's hard to remember that.
Then we went to IHOP for breakfast and were seated next to a couple with a brand new baby and I got to listen to the server gush over the baby.

I think I am a baby/pg woman magnet. :(

Plus, DH's motility for the IUI was the lowest every...22%! It seems like the longer we do treatments, the lower it gets. It started out at 40%. But we got the IUI and the nurse said we still had a good shot at success. So I'm still hopeful.

Awww Kim, I understand! I really do! It sucks that you have to deal with the preg. class at your fertility treatments! UGH! I can relate!

Oh hun i am so sorry, it happens to me all the time, when i am down the most is when i seem to attracks all the pragnant woman or the ones who have just had babies

I've wondered in the past why those classes are held in a room by the IVF procedure suite and "fun room"....although I was lucky enough to never see people coming or going to the classes. :bigarmhug:

I went to IHOP this morning too, but not until about 11. That would have been funny if we saw each other. You know how to attract the pg women! :D

I think IUIs are stressful for the guys and it affects their counts. Hopefully you'll still get your BFP!

I seem to be a magnet, too. When we were on vacation earlier this summer, pg women were everywhere! We were still licking our wounds from the m/c, so it was especially painful. Sometimes I make a game out of it and count how many I see in an outing. It *sometimes* helps...

It only takes one little swimmer - hope it finds your eggs!
