It's been pretty hot here these past few days. It rained pretty good yesterday. We really need it, our grass looks bad.

Last night Bernie and I watched the movie 300. It was really good, very graphic but good.

We had a busy weekend.
Dh and I had a horrible date sat night (long story...its own post) and then sat morning i went to a baby shower while dh had the kids and got his hair cut. Then we went to the blueberry farm and picked blueberries.

After that, we came home and put kaitlyn to bed and tore down an old shed thing in our yard--it was just some 4x4s on the corners with 2x4s between them for support and a plastic roof. And it was falling over, so we are reaplacing it with a real shed.

Then we went to my friends son's and other friends daughter combined baptism.

And yesterday after church, we went to visit our best friends who just had a baby on Thursday and I got to hold this tiny 3 day old baby...dangerous!!! I'm so baby hungry right now!

That was my busy weekend!

Holly - So sorry you and your DH's date didn't turn out to be as relaxing as I am sure you wanted it to be. I am also feeling the baby urge... seeing so many ladies on this board... well it is hard not to want to feel that again. DH and I have agreed to wait just a little longer until we purchase a house up here, then baby time!

Heather - DH has been wanting to rent that, I just haven't been in the "mood" to watch something graphic for a while.

Our weekend was okay. DH didn't feel good all weekend so he was snappy, I was in a foul mood as well (now I know I was suffering from PMS) and everything Darren and DH did just ticked me off to the point I wanted to scream at them.

After I bathed Darren and put him to bed Sunday night I took a hot bubble bath and then pampered my feet with a water massage foot bath while watching the first Indiana Jones movie. Got a pretty good night sleep and I feel somewhat better today.

It must have been the weekend for that 300 movie because Bill watched it Friday night when I worked! I really wasn't too interested in seeing it so he saves those movies to watch himself on the nights I'm working.

Well, we were going to leave for the beach today- yippee the hottest week so far to go right? Anyway, Bill's rib is really bothering him so we're going to see if it's any better tomorrow and leave after Nate's morning nap.

We went to our annual mothers of multiples picnic. It was nice! Trey rode a pony!

Hi Ladies! Great pic Heather! There's finally peace and quiet around the house- Peyton's in bed asleep and DH is not coming home till tomorrow. And then, we'll continue the discussion of when we want to TTC again. We're thinking NOW, but we'll see. How do you list pros and cons of that?!?

Heather I may have to buy some prints off of you when I re-do my family room. I've always wanted to put up prints of beautiful flowers. Yours are just absolutely amazing! The best I've seen!

We painted our front door black last night.....it looks really good. I think it finishes off the house well.

:cry: I killed the "TV" computer last night. :cry:

DH spent a coupld of hours last night trying to bring it back to life, but he was unsuccessful. He is going to purchase a new hard drive - reload windows XP and turn the old hard drive into a slave so we don't lose any data. He has been talking about doing that for months to fix some speed issues, but my actions prompted that event quicker than originally planned. We still have the "guest room" computer so we are not completely cut off from the world. I just feel so stupid for messing it up.

LOL! Maybe I should kill the computer, too! Just kidding. Glad you guys have a backup, though. I dunno what I'd do without a computer!

Today we have a open house for brokers only. So we shall see how that goes.

Is everyone staying cool? Parker wanted to go out an play so bad yesterday but it was just way to hot. It was fun trying to explain that to 22 month old.

He broke it playing soccer. He's a goalie and got a knee to his back and it broke his rib!!!!
Yes, we left yesterday and we're at the beach. Although the weather is supposed to be horribly hot! We'll see. We're going to try and take him to the ocean late this afternoon to see what he thinks.

I am so sore today! Dh and I laid the cement slab for our shed yesterday. It took all day and into the night. The kids were angels! At first they spent all morning in the yard with us, prepping the space, shoveling gravel and straining it. Then leveling it out. Then after lunch, they took naps while we continued to work. We went and bought the cement after that, then we put a movie on in the family room for them and left the slider open (about 40 feet from our work area) and we poured the cement while they watched a movie. I had to stop and feed them dinner, then they came out and put thier handprints in the wet cement. Then it was bedtime for them and us!. I'll have to get a picture of our hands, very cute!

Holly- looks like you guys did a ton of work- can't wait to see pics of the hands and of the finished project. Our big thing of the day so far has been killing the wasp next in the peas in the back yard. After Peyton's nap we're going to go pick up the bookshelves for our office that came in finally! I feel like then I can really start putting that room back together. Every part of the funriture has come in at a different time. We got the desk first, then the lateral files, now we'll have the bookshelves, and then we need to find a new desk chair. All that and I go back to work on Monday! :evil:

Yes it was work....I should go out today and take that pic of the handprints. I tornadoed through my house yesterday and cleaned the whole thing...feels so great to have such a clean house! Even if it means I didnt' leave the house all day :)

I feel like all we've done all summer is work...on the house and yard. But we had big goals this summer to make major renovations in the yard because we expect next summer that I'll be pg and not able to do a lot of hard labor around the yard.

But we do have a camping trip planned for next weekend. Can't wait!

DH fixed the computer - had a few panic moments when we couldn't find my "my documents" which contained every picture we have for the last 10 years. But we found it hidden under another profile. I need to go thru and organize them by date and title and back them up on disk like I did with Darren's pictures. Now there is a project...

Well I lost 3.6 lbs this past week. I know my loss won't be this much next week, but a good start. Just 16.4 more to go for my Thanksgiving goal...

Well, we're back from the beach. Man, was it HOT! Nate didn't really like the ocean. I think the crash of the waves were so loud it scared him. He did like walking on the sand though. We took him on the rides at the boardwalk. He really liked going with Daddy on the airplane ride. When I took him he was emotionless :dontknow: I'm sure the pictures will be funny with him just sitting there. I'll post them once we get them developed. Missed you girls.

So I bought a domain name to sell my pictures on. I am still working on the website and hope to have it up and running here in a few weeks. My company name is "Exposures of Time" photography by Heather Nolan. I am excited to get it going and hope it does well.

LOL! I know it H. He is wearing 4T now in some clothing. It's scary I tell yah. He is not chubby but long and lean. He ate like crazy on our vacation. It was wild. He ate an entire chicken breast one night with veggies.
