Hi ladies! I just thought I'd post an update, as you all have given me so much wonderful support and advice this past week!! My temp dropped this morning so today will very likely end up being cd1. :( So we're back to the RE this cycle to resume IUI's. Hopefully we'll get that magical bfp before 2007 is over as we're not sure how much more of this we can do. We want a child together so much and have been ttc for a little more than 3 yrs now. Dd is 10 yrs old (her birthday is today!) and I'm not sure how much bigger I want the age gap. I'm only 31 and dh is only 28 so our age isn't an issue, it's mainly the age gap between the kids, I don't know why it bothers me so much. Anyhow, thank you all for your support during this past week!! I appreciate it!!

I can honestly say i know how you feel. I am 32 DH is 29, my DD is 14 and DS is almost 16 so there will be a big age gap in between kids for me too. I get told all the time how crazy i am for "starting over". Thats ok....i can be crazy if thats what they think as long as i can get my BFP befor ethe year is over. Carol~ lol! I hear that all the time too!! "You're crazy for wanting to start all over again". *sigh* I think I will always long for another. I just wish I could give dh the experience that I had with dd. She was 5yrs old when I met him so he missed all that fun stuff!! ;)

Hi. I'm sorry you're feeling so down.

I wanted to say that my 'baby' brother is ten years younger than I am. and we have a GREAT relationship. Yes, maybe I feel a little maternal towards him, and he was dragged around to all of my my sporting events, etc when he was a kid and I was in highschool and college doing my 'jock' thing.... but he and I really do have a special relationship. I am actually closer to him than I am my brother who is only 21 months younger than me - we fought all the time growing up and now we are friends, but it is not the same as with the youngest.

Just wanted to share. Chin up. It will happen for you.
