Hi ladies,
Well, it's 6 am and I'm to -- yep, clean! I HAVE to do a couple of things before our realtor comes. I didn't get to the kids bathroom and I need to iron our duvet cover, stuff like that. It's totally bugging me that I didn't get the doors and window tracks upstairs cleaned, but I guess I'll get over it. It's not like SHE'S looking at the house, right? I can do them today and it will be fine...just the anal side of me kicking in.
Chris got home last night with no issues -- we picked him up at the airport, as in waited inside for him. Mitchell was SO excited. He screamed out "Daddy!!!!!" and went running to him and jumped into his arms. It was pretty adorable and like 3 people standing there went "Awwwww". Georgia followed suit after she watched Mitchell do it. So, I yelled out "Matt!" and gave his buddy a hug.
Mitchell gets to show Daddy what OT is like today as Chris is taking him. I know he'll come back all googly-eyed as M's O.T. is nothing short of hot. (She could be a member of the Swedish Bikini Team.) Georgia and I get to stay here and keep sprucing the place up. I think I'll go pull weeds in the backyard.
Have a good one.

YAY TARA!!!!! I am SO excited that this day is finally here for you guys. I know you are SO happy to have Chris home and I know that you can NOT wait to get the house listed. You know I'm hoping for a QUICK SELL!!!!
Good morning. Not much happening here today. My dad and his family are supposed to be leaving but they sure aren't showing signs of going anytime soon... . I was hoping to make it to the gym today, but they only offer child care during certain hours so I guess it will have to wait until tomorrow. I'm assuming they will leave around noon or so. It has been a fun trip but I'm ready for my brothers crap and the dog to be OUT OF HERE!!!!!!!!
Cleaning, cleaning, cleaning. There are dog hair clumps all over, the kitchen floor is in DESPERATE need of a mop, and I'm sure the guest bathroom is a SIGHT. Good times...
Have a great day! :D

Tara- I am so glad Chris is home with you guys now. It is so hard to be apart huh?
MC- I hope you do get a chance to make it to the gym. UGH, cleaning, that's what I need to do.
I don't have any kids today, except for my nephew for a few hours. My sister has a few errands to run, so I am keeping him. Randall worked last night, and he has to work the next three nights. Finally, I get home, and he has to work 4 nights in a row. :( I have a ballgame tonight. My sister is keeping Ruthie.
Have a great Monday ladies.

Good morning all!
We picked up the kids from my dads this weekend and while there we went to a waterpark that was overcrowded and the kids play part was kinda on the dirty side. The water looked cloudy. YUK! I tried to keep Benjamin in the waterfall type things so he wasn't swimming in the cloudy water but sure enough yesterday he started running a fever. Last night he was up alot and his temp was 103. I have an appt. at 3:15 to make sure he doesn't have an ear infection. Poor kid just looks terrible. Today I need to clean up and start getting things ready for next week. Headed to Florida! Yay! Have a good day all!

We had our open house yesterday (fun fun) and DH has fallen in love with a house in another town that we'd have to build an addition on for mom. Life just keeps getting crazier.
We flew my mom up for a few days over the weekend so needless to say between that and the OH I need a break!
Today Ben and I already did some gardening and he's down for his nap. We've transitioned to just one nap a day because I was tired of fighting with him about it and having absolutely no schedule. This is day 3 and things are going ok, but if he doesn't get a good nap (like yesterday) things get realllllly hairy. Hopefully after a week or so it'll be easier.
Have fun all!

Hi Everyone;
Man, it is SO hot & humid here, it's pretty unbearable to be outside. It's been that way all weekend, and I'm kind of looking forward to summer being over at this point & fall arriving! I used to think I wanted to live further south, but now I don't know if I could hack it.
Bob & Nate are visiting--going home later today--so I had a house full of boys all weekend. Completely outnumbered! Oh, well, I love it! All that boy energy filling up the house-it's crazy! The two of them are standing behind me playing soccer with a beach ball as I type this :)
Bob watched Ben while I went to the gym this morning; a treat for me & for Ben (who is not 100% crazy about going to the nursery while I'm working out). When I got home, I got everyone working & we cleaned the garage & consolidated all the yards ale stuff I've pulled out so far out to the garage. I feel like we accomplished a lot just doing that! It's amazing the difference this yard sale will make on all the crap that's been sitting in the basement! I've got to remember to call the newspaper & take out an ad. I have 3 girlfriends going in on the yardsale with me, so we should have a TON of stuff!
I weighed myself this morning & I'm down another 3 lbs, so 13 lbs so far. I feel great about that, but boy I'm getting tired of eating like a bird! :) It's not so much that I feel hungry, because after the first couple of weeks I adjusted to the amount of food I'm now eating. It's more just that I get a little tired of the lack of variety. I made the boys all meatball grinders for dinner last night, smothered in Mozzerella cheese. They looked SOOOOO delish, and they smelled divine. I'm afraid my Lean Cuisine just didn't measure up, but I ate it anyway, and didn't complain. Well, ok, I admit it, I'm complaining now.....but I didn't complain at the time! :) LOL!! I'm planning my first "cheat" on the 25th of this month, when we're taking part in a progressive dinner. Can I make it that long? Well, all I can say is if I do, I deserve to totally eat whatever I want that night!!!
Have a great day everyone!

Yay, Kirstin!! You are kicking some butt and losing yours! I'm so looking forward to Mitchell going back to school (that doesn't sound good I'm sure) so that Georgia and I can go for some LONG walks in the morning without him. He is just at that age where it's HARD to exercise when he's around. I can strap her in and call it snack time. Plus, I can use my iPod because she's content just to check out the surroundings where I have to be his official tour guide and bug describer. Little man...watch...I'll be like "I miss my Mitchell walks" when he's at school. I'm sure I will - that's how it goes!
So, we are officially on the market now. Our realtor emailed us the listing brochure and I think it looks pretty good. The market is crap, but as we told her, we're not in any hurry and enjoy living here now even more now that it's all spruced up so just trying to stay positive. If it hasn't sold by mid-Nov. we'll take it off the market until Feb. 1st and try again. That way we can just enjoy the holidays and as our realtor said not "stigmatize" the house with people there's a certain reason it hasn't sold or that there's something wrong with it. It has to stay off the market 60 days to appear as a "new" listing again. We'll just have to see what happens. Wish us luck.
