one question about lilypie tickers

i was on lilypie making my countdown ticker, and it asked for the number of days in my cycle correct. so im assuming that im going on the number of days that were in my last cycle, which come to find out now that i counted 26 days and not 28.. let me know if im doing this right if you ladies have time.
