I have been lurking but not posting recently. I have been suffering with depression and feeling totally crappy. I have good days and bad days (today is thankfully a good day) but am trying to get through it with the help of counselling rather than meds. However, I may try St John's Wort which is a herbal remedy for depression. Anyone have any experience of it?

The boys are doing great. Harry went back to school on Tuesday with just a few tears. He was fine by the time we left the building though. He has just started reading the Harry Potter books and is half way through the second book. He is totally addicted and wants to go to Hogwarts now! I am only half way through the first book and he is desperate to tell me what happens!

Caspar started back to pre-school on Wednesday. He loves it and wants to go every day......which technically he could but I am sooo not ready for my baby to be away from me every day! They are both starting formal swim classes next week - they are so excited and I am just nervous! Caspar has been doing really great with going to the toilet - insisting now that he only needs help if he has had a poo. However, night times are a nightmare at the moment. He was dry for about a month and then the last two weeks he has wet the bed every night. I have tried lifting him at 10pm and getting him to have a wee, restricting evening drinks, bribing him with new pyjamas etc etc but nothing seems to be working. I have considered putting him back in nappies at night - if only to preserve his self esteem but worry that it may also undermine him too? Any suggestions are welcome, ladies.

Hope to be around a little more.

lots of love

Aww, Lots of love comming your way too Katy. Miss you around here!
The boys are so big, and WTG Harry for starting the harry potter books. I cant even get Jossie into them. lol
I'm sorry about your depression. I have been having some way lows here too. It sucks. Life is just too hard sometimes. I didn't know about the st. john's wart though.
Dont really have any suggestions on the night time accidents. Does he go to bed with undies on? I have heard that if they wear them, they feel someting close to their bottom and may have an accident cause it feels like a diaper. I had to keep Kassie in no panties for a couple months when I was night training her. I cant believe he still has accidents if he is waking up at 10pm to go too. Poor guy, and poor momma. I hope it stops soon.

:bighug: So sorry that you are having to deal with depression right now :( Like Leesa, I've been have HUGE lows too - man it sucks huge! But i'm glad to hear that you are getting counselling.

I'm so glad that the boys are doing good! We are going thru the EXACT thing with the nighttime wetting - unfortunatley I don't have any suggestions. We had to resort back to diapers at night  Most of the time they are dry in the morning but i'm not ready to be woken up a few times a week to change sheets.
