Playing Favorites

Does your snowdrop have a favorite parent?

Tuck switches, but lately it is soooo frustrating. If he was o-tine and miwk (ovaltine and milk) he wants mommy to make it and bring it to him, and only mommy. If he wants daddy to get him unstuck, I cannot even get out of my chair w/o him yelling at me that he wants daddy to do it. It goes back and forth like this all the time. He is sooooo demanding and yells a lot lately. Please tell me he's not the only one, and does anyone have any suggestions as to how to help this phase along????

Once in a while it will be "No, Mommy do dat" but usually he will go to whomever. If he gets hurt usually he only wants me, fortunately he is letting Dh take care of this too. Playing and roughhousing he will play with both, but he knows DH can more than I can right now (see ticker). He will snuggle with both. He acts up for me more often than Dh, tho!

Right now, Uther doesn't have much of a choice, since Greg and I are separated and living pretty far apart. The times we have seen DH, though, Uther has been ALL about Daddy! But, then again, he's all about Grandmas, Grandpas, and cool Aunt Kathleen when he sees all of them, too.

It was me for the longest time and now if Daddy is home it is him. But this has only recently happened and his daddy bought a new truck and Kaden thinks that is the coolest thing ever!! But nighttime, ouchies those things are for mommy! Yes, what is the deal with the yelling... I have no idea on that either but you are not alone!!
