Just saying hi!!

Olivia and I just thought we'd pop over and say hi to all of the June jellybeans!!! Hope everyone is doing well!!!

Things here are going good!! Finally adjusting to being a mommy of two!!! The first couple of months were pretty rough, as Quinn was quite colicy and just didn't want to be away from his Mommy!! He's still quite the Momma's boy, but much happier!!!

Olivia goes to Nursery school 2 days a week from 9 to 11:30 and LOVES it!!! She went for the summer program for 12 weeks, and really enjoyed it, but now she's going to a different school, that is more structured, and and a better program, and it's great for her. She's made lots of little friends, done lots or projects, and is just loving it...it's so exciting!! She's also back in dance, after taking a month off over the summer. Which she's loving too. I just got done making her Tutu for Monday's class...she wanted a pink and brown one, and of course, I had to make one for her best friend "DayDay" the stuffed Monkey!! LOL So now they match!! LOL She loves being a big sister, and is SO good with Quinn!!!

Alan just graduated on Friday night from the police academy, after 10 long months!! Ahhhh!!! That was a wonderful felling!!! I felt like a single parent most of that time....as he was working full time, and going to school at night and on the weekend. He's now a deputy sheriff, and also working days as the school resource officer for one of the local pd's in the next town over!! (yes, my husband can never have just ONE job!! LOL)

I hope that everyone else is doing great, and that you've all had a great summer!!!! Now that Alan is home more, and summer is winding down, I'll be able to be around a lot more!!! Sorry I've missed so much!!!

Love the pics Quinn and Olivia are just dolls! I love that dress on Olivia in that last picture is is just too cute! Glad things are slowing down for you guys and congrats to Alan on being a deputy sheriff! WOW!

Hey girl! Good to hear from you. I LOVE the pics. Your kidlets are beautiful.

You'll have to give me pointers on the 'single parent' thing - Mark is starting his PhD next week (full time) and still working (full time). Congrats on Alan being deputy sheriff - that is fantastic.

Mari, I wouldn't wish that on ANYONE!! LOL The days/nights he had class, were seriously the hardest - I would some nights just sit and cry, and watch the clock, waiting for him to get home...especially if Quinn was having a bad day!! Ahhhh!!! I'm not sure how we made it through some of them. I don't think it helped that I had such bad PPD either. Thankfully it's over!!! I guess I can look back on it now...and, laugh?! I don't know....

I just tried to stay busy on those days!! That's my biggest tip!! Those were the days that I made sure Livvie was OUTSIDE and active, to tire her out!! LOL It helps that Quinn LOVES being outside too...he laughs and giggles and LOVES the breeze on his lil' chubby face.

How does Emiko like being a big sister?!?! Aiko is SOOOOOO cute!!! OMG she's such a doll, I just love that sweet lil' face!!!

Congratulations to Mark!! What a huge accomplishment!!!

Hey Krista - thanks for the heads up....I'm already nervous b/c Mark is gigging quite a bit and gone at nights - when I need him the MOST!!! Putting 2 kids to bed is 10 times harder!

Anyway, speaking of bedtime - off I go to put Emiko down!
