Wow! I didn't know you were moving! I can't remember where you are moving - was it the Carolinas? Anyway, I know when Emiko goes to school - she loves, loves, loves arts and crafts time. Esp. glitter and glue. At her preschool, they have an arts and crafts table with all of the goods either mounted in the middle of the table in a lazy susan or in little drawers underneath. Another popluar item is the make believe grocery store and the make believe pizza parlor. The pizza parlor is really cute - there are a ton of felt "crusts" and "toppings". Everytime I drop Emiko off, there is quite a line to make your own pizza.
Hope you get some really cool ideas and hmmm, I'll think of some really cute names...

Tiven has never been in daycare, but when DH & I were thinking about homeschooling Tiven, I stumbled across a website entitled "Preschool by Stormie" and it is amazing!!! It has a full year's curriculum and ideas on how to present "learning centers" like Science/Pre-Math, Large Motor Skills, Fine Motor Skills, and Arts Center/Easel. Stormie says, "I'm not an expert in Early Childhood Education by any stretch and I don't pretend to be. My goal, simply, is to share ideas I've used or wanted to use in the classroom and to provide a place where my peers can share their ideas as well." I think you could easily incorporate a lot of this into a daycare philosophy.

I have so much it is not even funny. As you know I have a licensed home daycare that I have had for over 2 years. I am starting to run out of ideas now as I have had the same kids for all that time and I try not to be to repetitive. So when you start up I will give you some fun crafts. GL Krista and if you need any advice just let me know.

We're moving to the next county over!! LOL
Alan applied down in North Carolina last year, Kelly, but didn't have any luck getting into Charlotte like we had hoped!!! We're hoping once he has some more experience under his belt, he'll just be able to do a lateral transfer!!
