I frequently visit, but since there's not much going on, I don't post often. Cassidy is getting so vocal. She still only weighs about 18.5 lbs. Not a big eater- just too busy. She's such a funny thing. I think we're finally over the tantrum stage. For a while it was quite interesting.
I'd forgotten how quickly they change at this age.

I know, where did all the sept & october mommies go? Wink

Things are great here. Reed is teetering around and playing so much. the best part of my day is going to pick him and and getting to hang out and play with him.

I had a nice long post all typed up, then either my computer or the site ate it .

I'm still around, though I don't post much - Eleanor is great, climbing, into everything, and oh so independent - and I'm well (large and uncomfortable, but otherwise totally normal) too.

This is really a belly pic, but since Eleanor snuck in, it works as a recent pic of both of us ;).

Eleanor is getting so big! Didn't she come at around 36 weeks? Does your doc think this LO will come early too? You look great!

Thanks! She did come early - 36w2d. This time, I'm measuring 3 weeks ahead, so the docs are predicting a bigger baby if nothing else. They aren't *worried* about me going early again, especially since Eleanor was such a good size and did so well, but they said they'd be really surprised if I went past my due date. Personally, I'll be pretty surprised if I go much past 36-37 weeks ;).

Jade, I can't believe how close your new baby is to being here! How exciting!!

I love reading everyone's updates, glad to see you're all doing so well.

I still lurk from time to time! I hesitate to post a lot because Hunter is extremely advanced for his age, and I don't want to sound like I'm bragging, I know it doesn't have anything to do with me, it's all him!

Last time he was weighed/measured, he was 33.5 inches and 26 lbs, still a big boy for his age! He wears size 7 shoes. He is talking ALL the time, started stringing together sentences this week, with his favorite being "where _____ go?", with the blank being daddy, mimi (my MIL), grandma, "woof" (any dog, he LOVES dogs), etc. He is a runner and a climber, there's not a whole lot he can't do as far as mobility goes. He is VERY active, and cutting down on the amount of sleep he gets at night, so we may be looking at cutting naps entirely in the near future. We are slowly but surely getting the hang of potty training, we started with Elimination Communication and now he is about 50% trained when naked, but not great at letting me know he needs to go if he's wearing pants. Oh, as far as teething goes, he is working on his canines and his 2 year molars right now, those are the only ones he hasn't got in yet. Still breastfeeding, but he's definitely cutting down on nursing and upping the solid food intake. Did I mention that he has the most gorgeous golden curly hair? I just can't bring myself to cut it yet, it is too pretty. Not the best pic, but here is my big boy:

As for me, still no sign of my period but we're wanting to try for #2 soon, so I have an appointment with a fertility specialist next month to see if we can figure things out.

I remember that she was really good sized for 36 weeks. She's so pretty.
I hope this one comes a little early for you too. It would be so hard to go later with your second pregnancy, I would think. I wouldn't know what to do if I went past my EDD since both mine came on or before the EDD.

Jessica, Hunter is so cute. I wouldn't be able to cut that hair either. That's great that he is coming along in the potty training. Best wishes for a BFP soon.
Cassidy is at the putting sentences together stage too. It's weird because Truman didn't talk much until he was 2. She has started saying things like, "Good job, Muman (Truman)", "I need out" of the crib or bath, and "I don't know" in the correct context. I love how quickly they learn at this age.

Hey everyone! I'm guilty of the drop in read and run. It's not that I don't want to post, it has just been so hard to find any time. I feel like I'm either always working, attempting to sleep or wearing myself out chasing after Ian, who is a little firecracker these days, lol!

anyway, I'm here now while Ian naps and I have a rare moment alone in the house. So off to do some catch up and maybe even get an update posted about the land of E

So 2 months later, I'm here to reply! LOL.

We are doing well. I weaned E at 14 months completely after finding out I was pregnant right before her 1st birthday. It was a huge unplanned surprise but unbelievably, the pregnancy didn't miscarry and so I'm almost to the point of having two successful pregnancies in a row! It's very exciting, but scary as we approach the last month here. I've had some trouble with low fluid, which puts my high risk pregnancy higher risk and then yesterday was sent to L&D for monitoring because his heartrate kept shooting up into the 190s during the BPP (I am now getting BPP's twice a week). But he passed the NST with flying colors. So hopefully no more excitement until he's here safe and sound. I am on the lovenox injections like I was last time with E.

E is fabulous. She's putting 5 & 6 words together into sentences on occasion! She's started some fun tantrums. We are handling it though and she gives up pretty easy if she doesn't get what she wants. She loves to sing and dance. Also loves being outside, so this spring and summer are going to be so much fun!

I'm way late to the party too. I pop in periodically, but rarely post. Guilty as charged...

HOPEBUG - CONGRATULATIONS!!!! I'm so happy for you!

Alyssa has been growing like a weed and developing by leaps and bounds. She's a hoot and a half. She's into 2T clothes now with a few 3T things once in a while. She's right about 30 lbs. She's a talker for sure. That girl can talk up a storm. When she's talking slow, I can usually understand her but when she gets going, I only catch about every 4th word. LOL She has to do whatever big brother is doing. She is such a little person now, and yes, a drama queen sometimes. She loves to follow you around and ask questions. My fav that she's been doing for a long time now is asking "What doin'?" or "Where X go?" complete with the palm up hands and quizzical look on her face. It makes me laugh. She LOVES Thomas the Train (can we say big brother's influence??). She also loves books and wants to read constantly. She STILL loves balls. That hasn't changed at all. Smile She sleeps through the night unless she's either sick or teething, however, she likes to wake up for the day around 5:15 - 5:30 which drives us nuts. LOL. She's my little darling.

Hi Ladies!
I don't think I posted anything over here in a year or so, wow! Where does the time go? It is nice to read about these toddlers we've got!

Hopebug. Amazing news! You'll have many adventures with two close in age Smile

Speaking of.... my two are keeping me super busy. We're all doing well though.
Chase learned to walk a bit on the later side and is still coming into his own with things. It is so interesting to raise him compared to his big brother. Bryce hit all those milestones so early that it has been completely different to have one that didn't. He is perfect and loved, just unfolding in his own time.

I always like to see updated photos, but I take too many :photo:

But if anyone wants to see some of the latest, freely visit my blog:

I tried not to over populate with pictures of my sweet boys, but they are too awesome not to put at least some on there Smile

I'll try and post more often when I do pop in
