I have a 3 year old who is mostly potty trained...except for pooping in the toilet. He refuses, so I'm still stuck changing those and it has become the worst ordeal...for my stomach! It used to not bother me, but now I can smell him from across the room and absolutely dread taking the diaper off. Even with the Zofran my doctor gave me it's horrible. It's taking all I have not to throw up right there on him. I've had to move a trash can in his room, just in case.

Anyone else having this problem???

My son turns 5 today - but I remember those days. He did not fully potty train until he was right at 3.5 years old. It took us literally setting a timer about every 30 minutes for the first few days and making him try and then he finally got the routine of it.

I feel for you - smell is very much my enemy right now. Though I haven't been "sick" - several smells have brought me very close.
