How far along: 26 weeks 4 days
How are you sleeping: Most nights I'm still sleeping pretty good. Went camping over the weekend, so I'm still recouping from that, otherwise fine.
Movement: All the time! With DS he didn't move a lot, but it was always really strong painful movements. This LO is constantly moving, just not as painful when he does.
Food cravings: Mangos, carbs and chocolate. Can't seem to get enough.
Best part of this pregnancy so far: It seems to be flying by! My last one seemed to drag on forever, but since I spend the days chasing DS is circles I don't sit and just dwell on it, then I look at the calendar and go "Holy Moly!"
Worst part of this pregnancy so far: Lower back pain. There's times I can't seem to get comfortable no matter what I do.
How is DH/SO doing: So far so good. He's not nearly as worked up as last time around. Although, sometimes that makes it hard to get him motivated to help me get stuff done.
Are you taking any baby-prep classes (lamaze, bradley, hyponobirthing...):Nope. We did one last time because the hospital required it for all first time parents. Just to try and find the time right now is funny.
Anything else: Just keep trucking through. Can't believe how quickly it's all been going. We are finally narrowing down names, but DH still isn't much help there. I know what I like but he doesn't really mention much except that Drake must be part of it.

How far along: 24 weeks 5 days!

How are you sleeping: Pretty good. Though I do find myself waking up a lot, and having a lot of bad dreams. And every morning, without fail, about 1 hour before I have to get up to get ready for work, I have to get up to pee. It's so annoying. lol

Movement: Almost constant movement. I feel it very low in my belly. It's still not strong enough for DH to feel it from the outside, but that is coming very soon, I'm sure. Just Saturday for the first time I started to get swift enough kicks that they startled me, so he's obviously getting stronger!

Food cravings: Nothing that's recurring... but I have had some mile cravings here and again.

Best part of this pregnancy so far: The fact that it's going so fast! And seeing how excited DH is. Smile

Worst part of this pregnancy so far: The pain. Excruciating pain quite often in my pelvic floor area. And sciatic nerve pain. UGH. It's making me feel very old. ;p And I'm just always so tired, and with three older kids, it's hard to find the time to get adequate rest.

How is DH/SO doing: He's doing great. Smile It's all become so very real to him since we met with a doula and got our hospital tour. Smile

Are you taking any baby-prep classes (lamaze, bradley, hyponobirthing...): Scheduled to start birthing classes in May at a local hospital. It's not in any way affiliated with the hospital I am delivering at, though, which is kind of funny. Smile

Anything else: Well, after a lot of thought and talking with DH, I've decided to try for as natural a birth as possible, which is kind of funny if you look at my birthing history (both inductions with epidurals). I'm very excited because it looks like the hospital that I am delivering at is very NCB friendly, and I'm excited to try to go into labor on my own. Not earth shattering, but I'm excited to experience labor without being stuck on my back in bed with all kinds of needles stuck in me. Smile

How far along: ?
How are you sleeping: Well, when I get a chance. I have this stupid sinus infection that won’t go away for the past month or so.
Movement: Yes. At my last appointment I hadn’t felt baby yet (21 weeks), but then I felt baby first from the outside!?!
Food cravings: Not really, but I would really like some spicy eggplant antipasta…
Best part of this pregnancy so far: It’s gone fairly quickly
Worst part of this pregnancy so far: I’ve had terrible sciatic nerve pain the past month or so. The Chiropractor really helps, but getting up, particularly after I’ve been slouching, is sometimes practically impossible.
How is DH/SO doing: Good. A bit frustrated by the number of projects that we have going on, but at the same time he is happy to work on them.
Are you taking any baby-prep classes (lamaze, bradley, hyponobirthing...): Nope. Can’t find time. Would do a pregnancy yoga class if I had the time.
Anything else: So much to do… hope I can finish it all between now and end of June! I’m planning to have July and August as “take it easy time” – at least physically!

How far along: 25 weeks

How are you sleeping: Been having a hard time getting comfortable at night, but once I manage to fall asleep, I'm out until morning!

Movement: Fairly regular moving. My placenta is in the front so the movement feels very different than it did with my other two. I feel the baby very low, very high, or around the sides. S/he seems to squirm a lot every time I move to a new position. Smile

Food cravings: Nothing much.

Best part of this pregnancy so far: The kids' reactions. They're both so excited about the baby!

Worst part of this pregnancy so far: The sciatic nerve pain, the lack of appetite, and the exhaustion.

How is DH/SO doing: DH has been very helpful. He makes dinner quite often since I'm so uninterested in food.

Are you taking any baby-prep classes (lamaze, bradley, hyponobirthing...): None.

Anything else: It sounds like my MIL might be able to spend some time here after the baby is born! She stayed with us for quite a while last time and was such a big help.

How far along: 24 weeks
How are you sleeping: Sleep is starting to get more difficult. Its going to be tough this summer with being in the third trimester and dealing with the summer heat. I have to switch sides throughout the night and my leg goes numb, making me have to switch more frequently. Only tougher from here...but worth it in the end. Smile

Movement: Feeling tons of movement! DH first felt movement about 3-4 weeks ago. DS felt the baby last week at my appointment and DD1 felt movement yesterday. It is just getting stronger and stronger. Love this feeling and so glad that my hubby and kids are able to feel it now also.

Food cravings: Not really having any huge cravings. Once in a while I will crave something like Cafe Rio but not too many cravings these days.

Best part of this pregnancy so far: Best part was having my ultrasound and seeing the baby and knowing that everything was ok. And also feeling movement every single day and knowing that my baby is growing healthy and strong and the fact thay my family is feeling baby also now.

Worst part of this pregnancy so far: Hardest part is just sleeping at night so far.

How is DH/SO doing: DH is doing pretty well. He is being supportive and loving and giving me foot rubs every few days which I LOVE! I still need to find time to start practicing hypnobirthing with him. He is skeptical of it all, but is willing to give it a shot with me.

Are you taking any baby-prep classes (lamaze, bradley, hyponobirthing...): I am not taking any classes but am currently reading a book about Hypnobirthing and I am hoping that in reading this and in doing the techniques and giving myself time to work on the relaxation and really work on this with DH, that it will help me immensely in this labor.

Anything else: Just excited to get closer to the third trimester knowing that we are all getting closer to the end. Can't wait to meet my baby!!!

How far along: 23w 4d

How are you sleeping: alright, could be better. I toss a lot.

Movement: TONS! This baby never sleeps

Food cravings: popcorn is amazing, but I never *need* it.

Best part of this pregnancy so far:It's easy. Complication free! I feel great!

Worst part of this pregnancy so far: It's going by too fast. I feel like I need to take time everyday to enjoy it, even for 5 minutes because I love being pregnant.

How is DH/SO doing: Great! He's actually more prepared for this baby and is excited for the birth!

Are you taking any baby-prep classes (lamaze, bradley, hyponobirthing...): Not this time. We talked about taking a refresher course, but I doubt we'll have time.

Anything else: Can I go on some more about how much I'm loving this pregnancy? LOL!

How far along: 23w5d

How are you sleeping: I've been sleeping pretty well... I do get up to pee 2-3 times a night and have to flip-flop from side to side at times because my hips start to hurt if I'm on one side for too long; but, I'm usually well-rested in the morning and am able to sleep 10-12 hours on the weekend!

Movement: Yes! There are some light kicks and some harder ones that I don't expect. There's been nothing strong enough to start me, though. I usually have a couple of days where I feel nothing and then a few days where I feel him moving constantly! I swear he hasn't slept in the last 24+ hours! It's all over the place, too... I feel it quite low sometimes and then up higher and on each side! I just LOVE it!

Food cravings: I honestly don't have anything I would call a craving!

Best part of this pregnancy so far: The movement, of course!

Worst part of this pregnancy so far: I really have nothing to complain about at this point! I think the worst part for me was the nausea I experienced in the first trimester! It's been pretty smooth sailing for the last couple of months, though!

How is DH/SO doing: DH is so excited! He works away, though, and feels like he is missing out on things. Other than that, he cannot wait for his little boy to arrive!

Are you taking any baby-prep classes (lamaze, bradley, hyponobirthing...): No. I might do an online pilot that the health region is offering. It's difficult because DH works away... There are no one weekend classes. The closest thing is two weekends that are two weeks apart. Since I don't have any family members close, there's no one else to attend the classes with me! I'm really not too concerned about it, though.

Anything else: I'm just really wanting to get everything organized for the baby's arrival! Since DH works away and family is not close, it's pretty much up to me to get everything done and it just seems like it's taking so long!

How far along: will be 25 weeks on Tuesday

How are you sleeping: Ok, my left hip bothers me at night so I have to toss alot and I've been having to get up and pee like every 2 to 3 hours.

Movement: Lots of movement! I totally love feeling Penny move!

Food cravings: Nothing really

Best part of this pregnancy so far: Feeling her move is so awesome.

Worst part of this pregnancy so far: Just the hip pain, it hasn't been to bad these past couple of days but sometime, ouch it hurts.

How is DH/SO doing: He's so excited and takes such good care of me. He cleans the cat boxes and cooks me dinner every night! He got really excited last week because he was finally able to feel Penny move!

Are you taking any baby-prep classes (lamaze, bradley, hyponobirthing...): None

Anything else: I'm sick of working and can't wait for my maternity leave to start!
