Fatigue

Is this setting in for anyone? I've been SO tired the last week or so and find that, no matter what time I go to bed at night, I just cannot sleep past 6:30-7:00 on days off (not to mention the 5-6 times I'm up to pee during the night)! It's fine if I have work in the morning; but, when I want to catch up on sleep, I'm up with the birds! It's so annoying and I'm exhausted throughout the entire day if I'm not able to nap (which, with work, I'm unable to do). I guess I'll just take this as preparation for when baby arrives! haha

Be super careful about fluids during this heatwave....
I still wake up super early...and my baby is 36 years old!

LOL! Welcome to the third trimester! Where you want to sleep all.the.time. but you just can't!
I hated the pregnancy-insomnia during my son's pregnancy and it's starting in this one.

I find I'll sleep through the night and then once I wake up (usually 6am) I'm up for the day... up and tired! I try to nap, but it doesn't help. I swear its preparation for when we have LO's keeping us up all the time! hahaha

I have found that just this week, I've started being ready for be by like 9pm, which is super early for me. I kind of figured that it's a result of this horrible heat, but it could have some to do with starting with the 3rd tri fatigue... maybe some of both.

I am still sleeping quite well at night, though... (knock on wood!!)

Duh...that must be the reason why I am feeling so tired. Third trimester fatigue! I have been going to bed around 11pm but lately have been feeling tired by 9:30 or so. And even though I have to toss and turn all night switching sides because my legs go numb, even when I get a decent nights sleep and am laying in bed for 8 hours, I still feel completely worn out when I wake up in the morning. I forget with each pregnancy the little things like this and how they feel. Its so easy to forget as time goes by...which I think is a blessing in disguise when it comes to labour and delivery...cause if I could remember that pain very vividly each time, I would not want any more kids. But I forget and then do it naturally all over again. Smile

Ok, I'm glad it's not just me! I did not expect to be this tired already! I just have to survive six more weeks of work! haha

YES!
I also can't ever sleep...pain and insomnia...but,
I'm lethargic...as soon as I started feeling like that...I went in for a blood draw...
I was border line anemic w/ the other blood work and was anemic w/ DD2. I found out and knew that I was anemic again...
Get it checked out....I'm still tired, but the iron takes away the lethargy.

I've been on an iron supplement for a few weeks now; but, the lack of solid sleep is having a huge impact on my fatigue!

LOL I am ALWAYS tired - but I have no choice but to push through... I try really hard not to indulge in caffeine but there are a few times where I really felt I needed it. I work full-time - and being military, I have no choice in that matter- DD#1 is an active teen needing running around for her summer basketball, then volleyball, plus dance and she is starting her community service this weekend (0800-1200) Sat and Sun... then DD#2 is in dance, will be starting swimming lessons next week, and needs a ton of attention. Plus I am in many ways acting as a single parent with DH still deployed so I get along the best I can.... on top of the pregnancy, with twins and I have anemia. So LOL I just suck it up and move on... bc at this point, I have no choice Smile

Yea, I have started to get that insomnia that comes with the third trimester. It is definitely no fun at all. DH doesn't understand why I -can't- sleep.
