Heartburn!

Ugh - it has begun already! Last night I tossed and turned all night with wicked heartburn (I was on an overnight work trip in a hotel so did not have any antacids with me). I remember the heartburn from last time a little off and on and then really on near the end but it seems to have started already. Hope this eases up soon. Now where are my Tums!

Add to that - it was my first night every away from DS (which went fine), I am super swamped at work and had planned to get a lot done in my room at night but the internet connection was garbage so I got nothing done, and then I seem to be coming down with a flu (achy muscles, upset stomach, and body purging contents). And came home to DS with a cold. Sigh.

oh man Sad Heartburn is awful. I haven't had much, usually only when I eat to close to bedtime.

I hope it eases up for you soon!

I haven't had any and really hope it stays away! I've been told to keep Tums on hand, though, just in case it rears it's ugly face!

Had monthly doctor appointment today and we discussed heartburn. The doctor reminded me that Tums can be constipating and that another good option is papaya enzyme which comes in a tablet form like Tums and you just take it as needed. Alternatively maybe I will buy and freeze a papaya next time they are on sale and add it to a smoothie. (I found that they make muffins very moist if you add them to your recipe but perhaps cooking hem ruins the enzymes?).
